RE: Renders of Romanesque Monastery
Try searching Kerkythea forums.
These images are combination of renderings in Kerkythea and post production in PaintShop Pro. See here: http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=24790

RE: 38 Gun Frigate L`Aurore
OMG
I think your work here should have proper safety labels or signs so consumers are well-informed about potential dangers.
Wait for me, guys!

RE: Windermere
Thanks, guys, that´s really flattering
TBH dear Simon, it was you who brought my attention to the University of Heidelberg digital library
@tadema: IMHO it couldn´t possibly end up shoved somewhere on your HDD. I am pretty much convinced that anyone should be more than grateful to lay his hands on such a model of mammoth proportions and render it.
BTW check out this guy´s work on reconstructing Fonthill Abbey using Rhino: http://www.hvtesla.com/fonthill/. And don´t forget to check out this link as well: http://www.hvtesla.com/fonthill/literature.html. I don´t know why, but I cannot open any of those .pdf files -
RE: Custom Automobile Body Paint Job / Decals
No problem. Also check out the Plugins Index and Tutorial section - lots of useful stuff there.

RE: Airplane tutorials?
No problem, I´m glad I could help.
A little OT - during my visit to UK in 1999 I spent a couple of days in Woking. My host was a kind, older gentleman, a true aviation aficionado.
Needles to say, we had some great talks. But I still regret that I didn´t have a chance to meet his neighbour, who was a tailgunner during WW2 (and I cannot for the life of me remember what plane did he fly)
My,my. You can imagine his story...So, yes, I´m very interested in your project. Keep us posted!
Cheers!

RE: Airplane tutorials?
That´s a very sad story, but than again something to get inspired by - I´m looking forward to seeing your Stirling in the Gallery. Especially because (AFAIK)
not a single example survived, even the manufacturer's drawings have been destroyed.I´ve got a few links here, like http://www.stirlingproject.co.uk/ and http://nrichards38.free.fr/Files/Short-Stirling.htm with some really nice drawings and reference images, as well as links to other interesting sites.
Hope you´ll find them useful.
Best regards,

RE: Windermere
Glad you like it, Bob.
Looks like there is at least one model out there: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=186745 -
RE: Windermere
No hassle.
Bonus track: http://beckford.c18.net/rutterdelprelims.html
Definitely worth rebuilding in 3D.
