    • RE: Blueprints

      Hello!
The link suggested above is an excellent source of blueprints.
You´ll probably need some reference images, so you can find them here: http://www.modelguns.co.uk
      And here http://www.biggerhammer.net/manuals/
Here are a few more blueprints ( well, not really air guns, but WW1 aircraft machine guns) http://www.finemodelworks.com/arizona-models/reference/Thumbs/Aircraft_Fittings/Machine_Guns/Machine_Guns.html
      Hope this helps.

    • RE: Hey there

      Hello and welcome!
I couldn˙t help noticing that Roman Aqueduct model, largely due to the fact that the city of Split, that I was born in, still uses one of them, Diokletian´s aqueduct, AFAIK.
Anyway, pardon me for being off topic - looking forward to seeing more of your work
      Cheers!

@Gaieus: I had a front row seat to watch the madness of the war in Bosnia, so yes, I guess it makes me very sensitive about that, but yet, thank God, not one track minded.
I know it was a concert - I just hope they did not perform a song devoted to certain Mr who is currently in the custody of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.
@Sepo: thanks for understanding, it´s good to know that you guys "up there" are pretty much informed on this.
Oh and I almost forgot - the drinks are on me 😉

Congratulations on that Cultural Capital of Europe thing once again and I am determined to visit you this year and to finally have that beer. Or lard sandwich. Or both!
As for that Bosnian renegade, French director and Serbian nationalist, you´re better off without him IMHO.
Whether or not can this be considered as offensive or inappropriate.

    • RE: From sketchup to UDK

      Hello,
I haven´t tried it myself, but since I am interested in virtually everything that has something to do with exporting from SU to some kind of game engine, I have stumbled upon this - a UT3 export plugin for the free version of SketchUp. The author of the plugin has updated it to export T3D, ASE, PSK and OBJ files.

Check it out and see if it helps.
      Cheers!

Thanks for reminding me of Randomize Tin plugin, Gaieus.
BTW I had to look twice to realize what NT means... 😄

So SU Sandbox tools are of no use in that case?

    • 3D Mesh Painting

      Hi folks!
I was wondering how many of you guys actually use some kind of 3D painting tool, and if you do, what would be the pros and cons of painting directly on a model vs. unwrapping a three-dimensional mesh to a flat two-dimensional image?
Is there a workflow between SU and some "painting" app that you use?
      Thanks in advance.
