    Hello!

Does anybode know plugin for terrain generation?

I'm working in landscape modelling and need to transform surfaces to make them look lile terrain.
There is no need in horizontal lines, just simple little unevenness of the terrain

      Hello there!
So SU Sandbox tools are of no use in that case?

If you really just need "littleunevenness", start from a Sandbox generated TIN (as NT suggests) and have a look at this plugin - Randomize Tin (by Jim).

Thanks for reminding me of Randomize Tin plugin, Gaieus.
BTW I had to look twice to realize what NT means... 😄

            That's almost good)

And it will be the best, if it will be able to add more "glitter" - to make more little unevenness (smile). Give me more! (smile)

            Thanx a lot)

You can always use the Smoove tool to give your terrain a larger scale unevenness (as suggested above) and use this plugin to add the overall, smaller unevenness. The two combined, should give you quite good results.

get Terragen 1, create a terrain using any of its procedural methods, modify as you wish, export as gray image. Then, if I am not mistaken, you can import/modify a Sketchup mesh from a heighlevel image like the ones exported by Terragen (with a plugin).

An overlooked Gem is the Sculpt tools, great for small detailed terrains.
