@messire said: Hi all, i need to rescale it down 0,9939 to 1 but it seems the scale tool only accepts increments of 0,01 thnx Nils That .01% snap-to is a real pain, but you can define it more accurately. Just scale it to about the size you want, and type to the VCB the actual ratio you want and [enter]. Often when I need to scale down/up just a tad, it will snap to the nearest .01%. If I move the cursor, it snaps up or down to the next .01%, say between .98 and .97, and I want something in between. So I estimate where in between and say it is .0976 Just simply type .976 [enter] and it will scale to that. If it is off a bit, undo and just rescale from there at say .9765 or .977 I have found trying to enter an exact dimension is a hit or mostly a miss situation. I just put in a guide line where I want the edge to be, and then snap the scale to that. It can get tricky though.

Well, I tend not to use too many materials - and often I just use colours (which are obviously not as slow) as for some materials in a final render (in 3rd party software) you do not necessarily need image materials or you can swap them easily if UV mapping is not an issue. But again - I can imagine serious differences between PC's and Mac's and even within these categories, between individual machines.

yes i do it might come from the way Maxwell plugin interferes with SU when it controls camera views then. What i just do is use magic wand in pshop, with 1 neighbour pixel setting ( neighbour pixel setting off) then i can remove the grey stripes... Hope this can be solved in future SU or MR versions! N

Yes this is what we're talking about> the material folder and the useless preset materials are rebuild whatever you do upon restart/reboot of the software....I wonder if we could get an option to get rid of them for ever so we can choose what folders we want and what is inside... By the way the biggest pain is the slowness of the material pannel when u reach 30+ materials in each with 200 kb images ( small)so slow it becomes unusable...has it progress in the SU 8 version ? N.

For the second question: Library -> Application Support -> Google SketchUp 7 -> SketchUp -> Materials I don't quite understand the first question, can you reword or perhaps include a few screen shots to aid the description of the issue? Cheers, Matt

Hi, I've been using it loads this last two weeks. @messire said: I have an issue using spray rb when using the selection option. I select a face in a bigger face ( any scale from big ( 100x100m) to small ( 10mx10m) and want the components to be "dropped" on that face. With some settings i get the " u are about to add more than xxxx components are u sure"... with some others ( less spray) i get no message but with both nothing happens. Firstly if the % is too low then it will struggle to place components the same if the % is too high. @unknownuser said: With some settings i get the " u are about to add more than xxxx components are u sure"... This just warning saying that it'll take a long time to place the components. I've had to leave the spray running over night. Also it is sometimes better to work in millimetres instead of metres SU copes better. Hope I have helped

I think you have to do the same with the materials, all rather tedious really.
