Sorry Majid, is what you mean that they build a building and then design a facade off the basic design? if so what is the advantage? Very strange

Tiny house steps
Hi, I came across this and thought I would share as there is a few people here that are interested in tiny houses. I do not animate in sketchup. would this be doable to animate in SU?

RE: Twinmotion render
. The person who did the image literally wrote the TM book (photorealism in Twinmotion) I cannot agree with you I think that image is perfection. I am pretty sure he would have SSS.

Twinmotion render
To anybody that doubts the power of TM these days, have a look at this render, by Luca Rodolfi (who liberally wrote the book on twinmotion) here is the proof of the brute power of TM check this out.

RE: A Bench and a Stool
@Rich-O-Brien I fail to understand how you say TM has a lower render engine. With my objective head on, so I did a search for "twinmotion renders" and Vray renders. I could not see any difference with render quality of output from Vray and Twinmotion at all. I am confused.

RE: A Bench and a Stool
Interesting, I did not know about Vray partnership. The landscape of renderers is both complex and dynamic. I for instance do not understand how Twinmotion is not more, obvious choice for SketchUp users. Free, powerful, easy to learn and with so many free assets with rapid development. I do not have a clue why TM is not an obvious choice. feel free to challenge me on this

RE: A Bench and a Stool
@Dave-R Nice work, I have not downloaded SU 2025 yet but knew it hade a "neo" renderer. I did not know it would be this good. I wonder if Trimble will add function to this aspect of SU over time?

RE: something just for fun
Everybody has probably figured it out I took the "roof" of for readability. Happy to share it if somebody wants a play

RE: something just for fun
@Rich-O-Brien said in something just for fun:
Stick with it. Groovy theme!
I love this type stuff to just flex your material authoring muscles. You can go crazy layering effects.
"just flex your material authoring muscles. You can go crazy layering effects"
Sorry that went over my head, happens a lot

something just for fun
Hi
did this just for something a little different from my usual stuff. I did it in SketchUp based upon an image I saw.
I think I will experiment with this a little more. especially with materials -

RE: Parametric Modeling - development?
I do not know much about AI but what about asking AI to work on it. Please note the short conversation I had with
AI
Amazing

RE: Parametric Modeling - development?
I am having a play with it, not got my head around it yet, but my initial thoughts are it looks quite powerful
