Texture Production (question)
-
I am doing my second paid job for the same client (local government) . It is a complex sports pavilion. The Architect is talented but has "brick fever" and has 12 very different bricks in one building. I am trying to get in touch with the right people within the brick manufacturer to see if the have textures on their products. If not, how could I produce the textures myself? I have even considered doing the bricks in geometry, like Lego blocks. The 3d images below were just block sketchup model was by the architect. They asked me to build the model from the Construction drawings is a proof of concept exercise

You could use a material authoring tool like Substance Designer, Instamat or Materialize

@Rich-O-Brien Thanks Rich are any of your suggested app's free?

Having a quick look, Materialize seems to be free, open source. Worthy of a look at least.
