I missed the helicopter, very nicely detailed!
And really a monster forklift
Thank you for your kind comment, Carsten. Glad you like the helicopter.
Good day to you!

Hi there,
I have been quite annoyed by the new system that is supposed to fix the floating icons when SketchUp window is minimized.
Before they had something like "Save Toolbar" and "Load saved toolbar" (can't remember the exact names) that will allow you to have your toolbar back the way you wanted after all the icons got messed up when minimizing the SketchUp window. It is not perfect but, you can fix it with one click of the mouse by reloading the saved toolbar.
Now with the new system if you have lots of icons and you move some of them by mistake, the column or row of icons disappear and there is no way to fix that quickly but only by putting them back manually, assuming you remember what icons were there.
Does anyone have that same issue?
I wish Trimble could combine both, the new system and the save and load toolbar.
Have a good day!

Hi there,
After 3 different design of buildings (e.g. the ones above) are approved, I am assigned to generate a dozen of new quick concepts.
The ones below were examples of new townhouse concepts generated based on the footprints from the 3 initial approved detailed concepts.
Have a great day!

Hello there,
Here are some of the first concepts I did for Simcity 5 during my first week on the job at Electronic Arts/Maxis office.
Just some simple townhouse designs.
Have a good week!

Hi Mariyan,
Welcome to Sketchucation!
I wish my first SketchUp models were that good.
Just a few comments:
I like the aircraft and WWII vehicle better than the sci-fi ones, because you put more thoughts and details in designing them.
I'd like to see the same level of details in the sci-fi vehicles. Maybe adding more windows and other little things that make the design more interesting. Right now they seem unfinished.
Are you planning on adding textures, materials or colors to them?
If it was not done on purpose, you might want to hide the center line so that it looks like one piece instead of two models that are mirrored.
Is the Exploratory vehicle floating above the ground?
What does the name of the aircraft "sadfghdfsgfs" mean
advice about plugins?...well, it really depends on what you are trying to achieve. But Fredo and TIG's plugins are some of the ones I like to use for modeling.
I hope my feedback is somewhat helpful.
Have a good day!

Hello everyone,
I hope you have a good weekend.
Here are some old SketchUp models/ Alien and human props I did for the game Defiance back in early 2010.
Take care,

Hi Castromann,
Very nice models and renders.
I am working on an unannounced project right. The futuristic architectural designs are quite similar to this building. Hopefully, I will be able to show something in the future.
Have a good day!

Very cool, Mark.
So are these kind of concept art/visual developments?
If I may suggest, maybe add a few soldiers.
What I like about Sketchup is you can also use it to do storyboards for tv, films and games.
Have a good week!

Wonderful modeling and texturing, Gintas.
Did you use Artisan? What about the texturing technique if you don't mind my asking?
Best,
_KN
Awesome, Eric! loving it.
I look forward to seeing more.

maybe Thomthoms
-Edge tools: close gaps tool
-Architect tools: Contour tool
?
Thanks, Carsten. I will check them out.
Hi there,
Does anyone know if there is a plugin to connect edges or close a contour? I have some curves and lines that I connect together, but the contour is not close because there is a hole somewhere that I can't find.
Thanks for your help!

Very nice, Carsten. I really like all your whimsical models you have been posting.
Have a great day!

Very cool model, Drew.
My only comment is: your wheels are cutting through the bender or whatever you want to call it.
Did you model the bees? is there a closeup of them? That would be fun if these bees were actually cyborg bees with organic body and head but with cybernetic legs and wings.
Best,
_KN
