There is a ruby for exporting as an obj from the free SU (without textures). Can't find it at the moment. I'm looking though and will post if i find it.
One way is to draw a line between two of the opposite corners. That will fill the gap in with two triangles. You can then soften the lines by right clicking on them and the selecting Soften/Smooth Edges.

as i wrote, i have to get this plugin sooner or later.
in the meantime, may i ask why in the billing information page the adress and the phone are required? i mean, isn't this just a file to download
Is this the first time you've used PayPal? It will be PayPal wanting your address and phone number, not Smustard. PayPal will just be trying to verify that it is a legitimate use of card and not someone trying to use a stolen one.
Are you sure it wasn't the fashion police that protested, because that's hideous!
After seeing that scarf, I have to agree with everyone who is stunned over this nonsense.
TBH I think you cannot really comment on this without seeing just how much the headscarf is inspired by the keffiyeh. If it is a new fashion completely taken from copying styles taken from Muslin terrorists and people like Yasser Arrafat then I can understand why there is a backlash against it.
Does anyone have a picture of the headscraf, or know of any designers who are producing it?
On another level, Michelle Malkin may be a bit of a loon, but she's a hottie loon.
The nightlife in Atlanta must be rocking, because no one seems to be in!
Nice that the lonely tree got some friends around to keep him company.
It depends on the client and their objective. If they want the most realistic, "correct" version then you had no option. If they wanted the best looking render to sell the apartment building to banks, apartment buyers etc then they might have been very agreeable to "artistic licence".
It looks like an excellent rendering and modelling to me.
A question about the renovations:
Will the brickwork be treated so that it looks better, or is the difference in appearance just the difference between "real life" and a computer rendering?

*Wondershare DemoCreator automatically records exactly what users see on a computer screen, what they say, and how they interact with PowerPoint or any Windows-based application or Web site to create software demos, tutorial videos, and online-help videos.
End users could add the interactive content to the movies with annotations, cursor moves, voice-overs, animations, user interactions, and more. Users can even export recorded screens as AVI video and upload to Youtube for promoting and marketing products by sharing the video on Youtube.
Features:
Full-Motion Video Recording;
Record just by mouse clicks;
Enable users to add balloons, animations, narrations and background music to make the tutorial more interactive and animated;
Publish to Flash, auto-run CD, standalone EXE , email for web sharing;
Publish as AVI for Youtube, Myspace sharing;
Create training courses with AICC/SCORM compliance for LMS (Learning Management System).*
Thought that this may come in handy for people who do tutorials.
Be aware that it needs to be downloaded and installed today. 22 hours left. After that you've missed your chance. So if anyone knows someone who might be interested in this you need to let them know quickly.
Β£25 after postage sadly means that ImageSynth would cost the same as if you bought it online at the special price, but you'd also get a fantastic magazine and other freebies on top of that.

If the facteur already made it onto MSN, I apologize.
It did. Apology accepted.
I don't think this made it onto the list,
but it obviously should have.
I think there is "good crazy" with the Walt Disney Convert Hall and the Guggenheim, but the binoculars and handbasket are "bad crazy" to me. I suppose the handbasket is a lot better than just having a bog-standard warehouse building with offices inside though.
It was on the disc of 3D World magazine in the last couple of months. Issue #102.

Any way - it's somehow sad that you don't get a provision, cause I've just purchased the Luxology imageSynth from Content Paradise (now that it was on sale, and now that the USD is low...)...
Thanks for the heads up..!!
Would you want to know if a program you'd bought for $50 was recently given away for free with a $16 magazine?
If you're going to steal ideas from MSN, you might as well present a link for people to see the other examples.

Don't really think the Gehry buildings deserve to be in with the handbasket.
Prefer #2 as well, but I think each picture should have been done straight on and at an angle so a more fair judgement could be made.
Really nice render.
The shoes look 2d though. The blue material with the green book doesn't "fit" properly for me. The pillows need to be modelled better IMO.
Really like the teddy bear. Is that modelled or a 2d? It looks like a 3d model but whatever it is I like it a lot.
What does SU Pro offer over the Free version? Do the people who bought the Pro version think it is worth $500?
