that's a really good tip. I realise that manual correction is necessary here and there but always better than doing everything by hand from scratch.
Thanks!
JOK64 - whatever that may mean ??? but I don't have to understand it
Thank you ALL for your kind comments and in the first place my son was really pleased that I used his "material" for such a Saturday afternoon sketch.
By the way - it still surprises me today how little the effort is to make something presentable with sketchup...

There is a real need for action!
Vacuum cleaner and compressed air (in appropriately low pressure doses) are certainly the instruments of choice. I read here that the fanΒ΄s revolutions generated in this way can in turn generate currents themselves that may cause damage, especially to the CPU. When I do this work once or twice a year, I lock the fans simply with one finger. I also recommend using a very soft brush and please make sure not to wear nylon clothing for this work...
sorry, somehow I missed this post from you

yeah I tried brushing the gunk but it didn't really remove any so I'll wait on the tech who's coming over tomorrow. He'll also install a new usb port as none of mine are working.
...a great into again
- in my head I already have some pictures and I am curious how it will go on!
Hi All,
IΒ΄m having a son who lives in a distant town and who loves to make graphity-art and every now and then sends me his sketches made in his sketchbook with pens on my phone.
I am very happy about this gesture of my son however always hoping that these designs do not end up on any walls of uninvolved people and hoping he does not end up in any police station then (I think that at least parents here can understand this).
Anyway, my son's cell phone message yesterday was an occasion for me to edit and use his sketchbook photo to virtually simulate his graphity design in a fast and dirty done virtual SketchUp mockup in a presumed real size before he does it analogue

Except for the self-made brick wall and the corresponding brick- and grphitytextures, all other model details are taken from the 3D warehouse.

PS - since even the graphity scene as a whole is quite alien and suspect to me, I chose a gloomy and rainy scenario for this little work

T...Then I use FotoSketcher to create the watercolor effect...
which was a very good tip Dave, thanks!
(it is good that you can save your own settings done in FotoSketcher as your own preset and load them again)

Thanks Rich - and yes, with pleasure and your cash is always welcome !!!

Dave R introduced me to the tool Foto Sketcher in this article here and I used this work to play a little bit with it

Hi All - Inspired by a trip to Italy this summer I modelled this Italian Classic these days. Not a big deal but fun!

Thanks Tuna also from me - your tip fits perfectly for me at the moment too
again - thanks a lot All for your interesting and sympathetic comments on this coincidentally so well fitting model-mix of my Cruiser and Hellnbak's cool plane
and even cooler
plane engine...
... Hi Majid, the freeware "ShiftN" works fine for me
