Small unnoticeable fix to FlexDoor

Thanks Dale for a great plugin!
Purchased as soon as I saw it was out.

An issue I'm having, is when placing a cutting door on an inside wall. I place it of course on the very bottom of the wall. What happens is that there is Z-fighting/Overlapping faces between three different elements:
1. The bottom face of the wall.
2. The newly generated double-cut reveals geometry.
3. The Flooring component.

Easiest is to hide the bottom face of the wall, but then there is still Z-fighting between the the double-cut reveals and the flooring.

Deleting faces from the flooring is not an option.
Deleting/hiding the reveals is possible, but it's very cumbersome at the moment - unlocking the reveals element, finding the face and deleting/hiding. If the component is then moved, have to redo this procedure again because the reveals are regenerated. This makes it very difficult for a dynamic design process.

Would it be possible to have an option for hiding the bottom reveal? And an option for hiding all the reveals all together?
(With some components the reveals are already part of the cutting component)

1. The problem of totally black ratio bars seems to have gone away... Either after messing around with my display drivers or after installing the latest release of Sketchup 2017.

That definitely clears up a lot of things I couldn't understand.

When I was analyzing your decrypter, 'get_attributes' fit in so well it looked like it's part of the API. Maybe it should be?!

You can test it with your DC encrypter decrypter.

When disabling "Advanced Camera Tools" both in Sketchup 2015 and in 2016 (maybe further), it causes an undefined method error with scripts that use 'get_attributes' (with the S) on a component definition.

The error:
" Could not load xxx.rb:
undefined method 'get_attributes' for
#Sketchup::ComponentDefinition0x000000.... "

I usually disable the 'Advanced Camera Tools' extension (It may cause all sorts of scene problems in some models), but I guess I'll have to live with this one when I want to run a certain script...

1. Does this happen to anyone else?
2. I can't seem to find 'get_attributes' (with the s) in the Sketchup API, nor in the Ruby Docs... ?

The only issue I know of, is after installing 2017, if working in previous versions of Sketchup, an error may come up, and it's easily solved by installing the latest Dynamic Components Extension.

Just installed Sketchup 2017. Improvements look nice, BUT... Now I am getting an Error in 2015 (that was not there before!)

In 2015 - When I select a dynamic component to see it's 'Component Options' window, the window doesn't work, and I get the following error:

" ERROR: Callback function error: Object doesn't support propery or method 'atachEvent' @/dcbridge.js[601]. "

This makes all dynamic components quite unusable in 2015. Beware!

In 2017 they work ok, but this can really screw things up for many people that are just trying this out...

There have been a few guys here that have been beta testing 2017, and they reported having this bug too... anyone else?!
Anyone got a solution?

The Dynamic Component extension got an overhaul for SU2017 so you need to update it in SU2015 if you're still going to use that version. Go to the Extension Warehouse in SketchUp 2015 and update the extension. Update the other SU extensions while you're at it.

Thank you Dave, installing the new version in 2015 seems to solve it!

So very glad! Hearing things like this is what keeps me going!

I've got many additional Flex components planned. The list is long. A few are already working, but not ready for release yet.

FlexStairs is on the list. What would a FlexCabin be? Or is it a FlexCabinet!? (Cabinets/KitchenWare is a whole world in itself...)
How do you imagine a FlexRoof?
What kind of roof would it be? How would it look?
How would it work?

Glad you're having a good experience with FlexWindow and FlexDoor!
The different windows you've suggested are on my list - trapezoidal now added too!

As of late, among other things, I've been busy developing a different dynamic component which you may also find useful... I am thinking to call it FlexPanel - For creating sorts of panel combinations... floors... ceilings... (still in the works)
