In keeping with the theme, you should replace the dresser with lockers.

@lavanta said: This has a very nostalgic feeling to it and I like it. Also something playful, it reminds me of a children's box somehow I don't know if this was intented though, it's just what came to my mind when I first looked at it. Really good job! Lavanta : It was intended to show what was in dad's "jewelry" (for lack of a better word) box. Kind of just a rememberance of dad. garystan

@garystan said: I just tried your method. Works like a charm !!! Simple as the proverbial "1 2 3 ". Much thanks garystan sometimes simple is the best trick, however, as you begin to model with TINS more and more, there are some excellent plugins available to take you to higher levels of terrain modeling.

@tuna1957 said: garystan, huge bounding boxes are usually caused by stray hidden geometry floating out in space. You got it out of the component box but it might still be floating out there somewhere. Turn on hidden geometry, do a select all, unselect your phone component and hit delete. Should get rid of anything floating about. Don't know why your component name messed up, just do a save as and rename it. Thanks........garystan

@pbacot said: Looks good. How is this image produced. Foreground model, is all the light from the background image? is the water modeled for the reflections? I use Twilight Render (engine). This software has the option of including a background image. Once in a while I can't get the background just right. It's either too high or too low. In that case I'll add the background with Photoshop. The background is a .jpeg file. As the for light, I added a light (as part of the model) in the foreground. it's an exterior wall-mounted light I created with Sketchup. The light is edited with Twilight Render. **NOTE** : The foreground lights are "behind" the camera. garystan

I went to a Turkish Barber in Riyadh and he used the straight razor on the admittedly few occasions I had shave AND haircut, him I trusted, me I am not too sure about The string thing for stray hairs on the face, neck and sideburn region I did not get used to and strikes me as being like waxing. Something I could not get over was the fact that we had Greeks and Turks working over there and they are some of the nicest, most genuine people I have ever met. Put them together and it was like oil and water sometimes.

Funny thing. I just watched and old movie last night, The Wild Geese II, and there was one interior scene where the footboard molding was very tall. My "guestimate" was at least 12" high, which is something you no longer see anywhere except in much older buildings, which is where this scene took place. So this picture may actually be an accurate scale of the molding, but without anything else nearby the model to visually scale with, it's hard to tell. But I thought I would just mention the footboard thing. I was quite surprised and immediately thought of this thread.

Seems it's writed this ! @unknownuser said: Usage Draw a curve or a sequence of connected edges/curves. Place and orient the target group on one of the edges of the curve. (Optional) Offset the axes of the target group to the desired center. Select (Menu) Extensions → Copy Along Curve. Select the target group. Select the edge of the curve to copy against it. Usually it is the edge closest to the target group. Adjust options or left-click to verify and proceed to copying. To adjust the spacing, input a desired numeric value into the measurements box. To control the number of copies and have the spacing be adjusted automatically, input a fixed value with a c in the end. Use the left and right arrow keys to enable/disable alignment.
