I saw this maybe a year or so ago. I'm still amazed and impressed.

RE: First night scene Vray (Updated)
I'd love to pick it apart... but I can't. My chin hurts from hitting the floor so hard.

RE: Cobra GT S Render Test
I also have agree that while it's a good looking model, it seems a little dark. Maybe just a little more light. Not much.

RE: Twilight project
I have to agree that the second one looks better.
Is this an interior furnishings store? Looks nice.

RE: (Not) Blowout Preventor - Oops
Thanks flipya.
Render? Hmm. No, I hadn't thought about it. I'll probably continue to improve my modeling skills before I start rendering things. I want to work in this field (3D modeling) and I feel I need to be as versatile and efficient as possible before I say "sure, I can do that." So my plan is to first master modeling, then rendering. That way, I'll have a bunch of stuff to render, right?
Thanks rclub24!

Job Op
I just got an email for a 3D Max job opportunity in my city that I am not qualified for and was wondering if there was some place to post such things here?
I know this is SketchUp, but thought some of you have said you're familiar with other programs as well and in this economy, I like to help where I can.
If this is inappropriate, please let me know and then delete this post.

RE: (Not) Blowout Preventor - Oops
Thanks NOLA. I wanted to add that I have about 30 hours on this one, which was a huge improvement over my first post here, which took me almost 80 hours.
Still learning.
And loving it.

Wow. And yes, the night shot and detail closeup are excellent.
