I looked at my post, forgot to tell you I liked the model. You have done a good job.

I do a lot of modeling for offshore companies.

You can get rid of the lines, by using the eraser and the control key to hide the lines.

        Ken

Thank you. I will try that tomorrow.

        Appreciate the good word.

How do I get rid of the lines on top of the gas cylinder? (right hand side of the assembly)

Insure bell shaped housing is a group, then rightclick, click soften/smooth edges, then
make sure soften normals is checked and adjust slider.

This worked well also. (I tested both techniques)

                  Thanks.

Thanks NOLA. I wanted to add that I have about 30 hours on this one, which was a huge improvement over my first post here, which took me almost 80 hours.

                        Still learning. πŸ˜„

                        And loving it.

You should upload to the Warehouse if you have an account

                                Thanks flipya.

Render? Hmm. No, I hadn't thought about it. I'll probably continue to improve my modeling skills before I start rendering things. I want to work in this field (3D modeling) and I feel I need to be as versatile and efficient as possible before I say "sure, I can do that." So my plan is to first master modeling, then rendering. That way, I'll have a bunch of stuff to render, right? πŸ˜‰

                                Thanks rclub24!
