you have to change the default parameter (1000mm) to a smaller value or draw a bigger circle.

Yes, I knew that but just wanted to see what would happen with the randomly sized circle I drew. ๐Ÿ˜„

      Still a fascinating result!

Just loaded this plugin for the first time. I drew a circle and, using the default parameters, clicked to proceed and got this ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Not sure what it is, but it sure neat ๐Ÿ˜‰ Black hole generator maybe. ๐Ÿ’ญ

Now on to more serious testing. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

      Dear Bob,

      This might be the problem:

      http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=20004&p=166225&hilit=Draw+taper#p166225

I think the last two posts are relevant.

      Regards,
      Bob

I'm hoping that's the solution because I have that plugin at work but not here at home. However I did do the search for UI.BEEP and nothing showed up. Does spotlight search the interior of plugins?

      Many thanks Chris and Bob

    • RE: Follow-Me Tool on Multiple Lines.

Once I got over the fun of trying latticeizer, I realized it had a very practical use for me:

My job involves design modifications for space vehicle launch facilities. In one of the facilities a launch vehicle is stacked vertically for testing prior to launch. That facility has several platforms that conform to the shape of the launch vehicle. Those platforms are made of steel ribbing with a steel plate welded to the top. Each platform may have a different size "hole" in it. Modeling these has been a chore: not a big chore, but time consuming. With Latticeizer the job becomes much easier.

The picture shows three phases of the modeling using latticizer:

      1. Draw the 2D shape of the ribs
      2. Run latticeizer
      3. Put on a diamond no-slip pattern
      4. Add fittings for folding
      5. Duplicate it and flip it over

Unfortunately, latticeizer does not always work as expected. Sometimes the entire group just disappears, other times only parts of the group extrude and I spend a lot of time trying to "fix" it. One of the more benign examples is shown.

But, when it works it really is handy.

The attachment at the bottom of the first post.

Maybe I should change my user name to "Dumb and Dumber".

The only thing at the bottom of the first post "[Plugin RoundCorner 2.0a - 9 Jul 09]" was
      RoundCorner 2.0a and Quickcard RoundCorner - English - v2.0.pdf.

At the top of that post was:
"RoundCorner .......requires you also upgrade to LibFredo6 3.2a or higher. See that post at http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=17947#p144178".

That took me to this post where there is no LibFredo6 3.2a download โ“

      Urrrgggggh

Don't have housebuilder and did a search for UI::BEEP and UI.BEEP with no success (thanks anyway Thomas).

I am loath to go through 67 plugins so I guess I'll just mute my MacPro: strange, though, I don't get the beep at home on my iMac (guess I should do a comparison of plugins).

    • Where did the "ding" come from?

All of a sudden I've started getting a "ding" sound when I click on an object. It's not an option in "Preferences" so I don't know what could have turned this "feature" on. Anyone have a clue?

thanks mitcorb, the image you see is from the component attributes panel.

you can access it by right-clicking a component > if you click on scale you will see that you can disable the handles on the 'diagonal sides'. that way you only scale up, down, left or right but... not obliquely (fingers crossed..) ๐Ÿ˜„

"component attributes panel" I apologize in advance for my ignorance, but what is this?
When I right click on a component selected for scaling I get only the usual flyout - not that neat option panel. It would be really nice to be able to select just x-y. I'm obviously totally green on this area ๐Ÿ’š

This is an older version of the Skin folder that has six icons in it that results in three being shown with skin26.rb.
Note that "Smooth" is unavailable (no other choice).

I might add that it took several tries to get the result shown (all sorts of weird results).

I would just like a clear separation between pay and no pay. I am suggesting that product announcements continue but in their own unique space. This in fact would make new products easier to find and would keep them away from the member/user motivated posts related to product reviews.
