There's a hidden "feature" where if you name your material "VRayOverrideMaterial" it will render everything that material when you enable material override. Create a new Toon material, rename it thus, and you're good to go. (This is only in VFS2)

Ted, if it is officially out?

It's available for anyone to try. It's still in beta, so definitely a few kinks in there.

Awesome, thanks TIG for the code! I needed something like this a while back, wish I'd thought to search in Sketchucation then.

Is there no other way to make the 2013 do as I want? Or do I need to try again with a higher version of sk?

with a scene of nearly 200MB, I don't see any easy way around the memory issue. Can you try installing 2016 Make version and only vray 2.0 for SU and see how it goes. I would completely uninstall vray before starting on the new install.

Either that or we archive this and start again from zero.

Hmmm, now that there's the d'oh book out, starting from zero sounds viable to me πŸ˜„

      +1 to Box's comments.

you might want to go to SU2015 or later to access more memory (64-bit versions). Sounds like you're running out of memory with good old 32-bit SU2013.

If we are to consider the new weasels as doing nothing for the people, how is that different from the current crop?

I want my weasels in there dammit! But seriously - that's why I supported Bernie Sanders, and there are people like Elizabeth Warren who do take stands against entrenched interests.

As regards how I think Trump will go about raising the standard of living for middle America. I thought that should have been obvious with his nomination of Rex Tillerson for Secretary of State. This move looks to be a way of vastly reducing the $1,000,000,000,000 annual military industrial complex budget.

If they can seriously take on the military-industrial complex, I'm all for. I'm just afraid they are feeding from the same trough: private profit, public risk... risking the full faith and credit of the US for personal enrichment. I guess time will tell.

Trump and his appointee's have a track record of knowing how to make money, having a grounding in that will potentially mean they are better placed to work for the people when it comes to running a large corporation AKA a government.

Unfortunately, it is more like a new bunch of weasels in for self-enrichment. Their policies will definitely will NOT be in the interest of "the people" (see for example proposed tax cuts for the super-wealthy, infrastructure moneys to large corporations, financial deregulation to benefit Wall Street, the list goes on.)

He is by no means the perfect president but if he implements a fraction of his campaign promises he will swing things around for the average middle class US citizen.

Depends on what you read. From where I sit, it looks like plutocracy and kleptocracy all rolled into one...
(billionaire cabinet appointments, massive Trump organization conflict of interests, with children and spouses execrising undue influence.) bad news in my estimation. Don't even get me started on the climate change denial that will run rampant. I want to have a habitable planet to pass on to my children.

Still can't believe that mean-spirited bigot got elected. A buffoon who believes climate change is a Chinese hoax, is going to run the most powerful country in the world. 😲

Here we were in the US all these years laughing from a safe reserve at all those tin-pot dictatorships across the globe. Now we'll get to see it up close and personal 😞 😑

I think he means to not have to click continuously to dig into groups/components.

If you ever used Fredos Animator you are able to select deep into a component from a dropdown list.

I think this is requesting similar behaviour to save the digging to get to the meat.

make sure you have an image name specified for the output. Go to the "Output" settings, check the "save output" option under Render Output, and type in a filename.

Are you using any rendering plugins? I know sometimes if you start vray, it will reload a previously specified bitmap and replace a material you've since added in SU.

I have gone to over 2000 real estate companies.

Just sending out a resume or some kind of ad is a quick way to get ignored. My advice: you need talk with actual people, in person if at all possible. Have some clear idea of what you are offering, like Dave says, and explain it in person.

It's the "size" value in 2.0. Default is 1.0, that's what you want to increase to get soft shadows.
