- part way scrolling through a list of posts suddenly there is some refresh looping causing the entire page from the advert on down to jump back and forth (up and down really) making things unusable.
We have set pagination on to prevent this. You can change this setting at your personal settings.

@rv1974 All I ask is time and patience while we dial stuff in. Imagine its your brand new home and you get to paint it and decorate it. But first we need the utilities to work.
-
@Rich-O-Brien no problemo, is it in plans at least?
-
@rv1974 yes, but right now we are resolving logging issues for those impacted.
I understand your not digging the visuals. Its on our todo list

No more "Your posts" ?

@Box
I am not seeing these 2 icons. Is it a iPad issue (which is where I look at the forums most of the tone)? -

Have you tried pressing your avatar to expose more options?
There's lots of new toys to play with so take your time and explore the interface. There's no documentation to follow as its forum software. You will gradually find things.
It is also highly customisable so a menu position for one user maybe located differently to another. That is why its important you poke around. Not to find a problem but to just explore it.
I know its a major shift but take the time and explore the UI. Its the best way to learn.

Yes, I did not see other options. Either I am just missing something or maybe it is something related to my iPad. I just see a number on my avatar. I cannot do a screen capture to show you what I see/don’t see.

I have not seen options for customizing the menu unless you are talking about the list of things on the settings page.
Again, I would like to point out that I do not see the things @Box pointed out before. I have seen some things if I click to have a side panel show up on my iPad.I know it’s a major shift but take the time and explore the UI. It’s the best way to learn.

What happened to private messaging? (and how can I see my old ones)?
-
Some imperfections:
I'm very used to entering N in address bar in Firefox and get "new posts" on forums. Now it's redirecting to the main board - not good.
Was really needed to rename New to Recent?
Going from forum to plugin store to download stuff still demands to login once again.
'Your posts' are gone.
I'd prefer 'edit' pencil button not to be buried in dropbox menu -

We didn't rename anything. Its the newer software's naming convention. We will take a look at URL slug

So would I....will see if there's an option to customise button positions

We still have the older forum. Private messages are not capable to be migrated so we'll provide a means to download your messages to CSV once we finish resolving issues here.

Hi there! I like the new look, but I can't find where to change my signature.
-
-
@alsomar Click your Avatar, top right and choose Edit Profile then scroll down to Signature and then to save changes.
-
-
@Rich-O-Brien doesn't look like there is an option to edit signature in the settings or profile areas (found via the vertical triple dots).
also, the "your posts" is called "best posts" - maybe call it "latest posts" or "recent posts" as i'm sure not all my most recent posts are the "best" ones

Did you try clicking on your profile image thumbnail on the upper right and clicking "edit profile" in the pull down menu?
