I like the videos; they help a lot. I am not sure if this is the place to ask this question. I installed animator. I used it a couple days. Know when I click on the clip editor. It will not open. I am not sure what to do.
Could you migrate to LibFredo6 v13.6a. It should solve the problem.

Thank you that worked!

Hi all, I've been doing some Animator training, making a tip truck reverse, tip up then down, then drive away. I've managed to get it to reverse & tip up...although the hydraulic tipper ram doesn't extend right. I used a combination of rotate, follow path & layer visibility to make it extend.
I made a video of it so you can see the results so far.
Any suggestions on how to improve most welcome.
Cheers. -
Well, I isolated the tip truck hydraulic ram to make things easier to see & replicated the movement for it as if emptying the truck's load (tipping) but I'd like to see if it could be made to extend whilst it is rotating instead of rotating then extending like I've got it to do.
Here's the latest video link.

Did you make sure that the expanding and rotation are being done at the same time? Take the two clips an drag them so they are side by side in the timeline.
I cannot try it (my laptop died) but I seem to remember doing this before.

Be careful that when you create a rotation, the pivot point can either be referenced by absolute position in the model or relative position by a given object (which can itself be moving).

SjS66, I would recommend that you have 3 clips. One to rotate the truck bed, a second to rotate the hydraulic ram, and the third to expand the hydraulic ram. Now make sure that all three of them have the same starting time in the timeline which can be accomplished by dragging each of the clips to be parallel to each other in the time line. I would also recommend that each of the clips have the same duration.
Hope this helps. Perhaps you could share a screen capture of your Animator dialog/timeline for your animation.

I really like these types of Video Animation Services because I am also doing this type of work just to attract the audience to my site which is a great technique too many animators are engaged to improve it but I don't need to do it because I am an expert.

Is there an option for animation on a track?
Does that mean that the camera travels on a certain line and passes between all the rooms? -

If you create a object to follow a path then use Camera Tracking Object and position your view you get that 'tour' effect
Just hide the tracking object for the export.

I use the Temp exit feature in Animator to then use the native Position Camera tool.
Then return to the Animator timeline add a New Camera and set it with this...
It's a bit funky to do but it does work

PDF ANIMATOR TUTORIAL
. After discussing it with Fredo6, I'm now publishing it in this post, as it seems the most fitting choice. Here's the link to the explanatory video and tutorial (in the video's description) in their Spanish version, published in my video youtube channel.
I'm currently working on the English version. This order is necessary due to layout considerations, as English tends to use fewer words. I hope it aids other designers in creating excellent animations with this superb plugin. I trust it will be helpful to you and that you'll share it with fellow users.

HERE THE ENGLISH VERSION OF THE PDF TUTORIAL OF ANIMATOR
I'm getting ready for the English version.
ENGLISH:At last, I'm pleased to introduce the tutorial and video for the ANIMATOR Plugin, designed for use with Sketchup, enabling the creation of impressive animations. It's taken quite a few hours of work, though the tutorial is intended as a basic introduction. The link to the tutorial can be found below, offering a 54-page PDF outlining the core features of ANIMATOR, alongside a few examples of more intricate animations. There's a chance it might contain a few oversights, for which I apologise. Despite being in beta for a while, the plugin remains a highly valuable tool for animating Sketchup projects. The animations boast impressive resolution, with nearly all film parameters under control. I hope this aids you in your animation pursuits and I encourage you to share the guide, assisting fellow users keen on animation. Thank you.
