Hello everyone,
I'm Nilesh, an architect and SketchUp extension developer.
I recently released nEVEn, a SketchUp model diagnostics and performance tool focused on identifying heavy geometry, large textures, viewport bottlenecks, and general model health issues.
I'm looking for 5–10 active SketchUp users willing to test it on real projects and share feedback.
Any feedback, suggestions, bug reports, or real-world usage insights are welcome.

j'ai installé la version 2026 ( après une version 2025 ) et le rendu de mes plans a changé ( et/ou peut etre entre temps j'ai cliqué une case ... )
Pour autant, je ne peux plus travailler sur sketchup, j'ai un rendu en traits alors que j'avais un plan correct;
j'ai essayé de charger un plan type d'un collègue, je charge ensuite le mien, il apparait bien, mais quand je sauve, il se réouvre moche ...
Idem, sur lay out, il est moche
je suis tres embétée ....

Hello, found an easy solution, ignore everything ayone else said. When you are selecting a different material make sure your default tray on the right under Materials has "select" selected instead of Edit, doing this prevents editing of the texture's shade and wont make it a shade darker every time you eye drop it. This 100% works.
i have been playing with fredos, but i dont really know what to do with them, and yes, pushing the selected face in.
I need help with an irregular shaped push as you can see in the attached image
I am pretty new to Sketchup and am probably trying to run before I walk, Is this even possible?

Are you using the the Yellow pin to skew the image?
That's UVW mapping which is not the same as your regular UV mapping which is purely 2D.
If you skew an image in SketchUp you can introduce additional UV points so a plane with 4 verts could have 5 points when you view the UVs.
Hopefully this shows what I mean. I think if this type of mapping is where the issue may lie.
Either its the new engine thats flaky or the destination app does not support UVW mapping.
I could be wrong.....it has happened before....many many times.
I wouldn't trust that with kids pounding up and down it a few times a day. Clever though.
You can also use our own Bundles feature to migrate extensions you've installed using Sketchucation Tools....if any
