@awoolwine said: Downloaded LibFredo6 corners yesterday. it was working fine. today it gives me a message "INVALID-no match of edge properties-F+709. ??? This has to do with the setting of the filter of edge properties, which you may need to adjust to select or exclude edges [image: TEzu_FredoCornerFilteredges.png] fredo PS: the F 709 is a trace which I will remove (I use it for debug)

This is not a SketchUp bug. This is a deficiency in the graphics drivers. What is the graphics card in your computer? What version of SketchUp are you using? Your profile indicates a version that does not exist. You should update the graphics drivers and see if that helps. Also in SketchUp under Window>Preferences>OpenGL, untick Use Fast feedback.

you can download ol' SU Pro versions (DE/EN only) down to version 6 from our SUP download archive. Recent operating systems are obviously not supported.

As Didier says, if you have not installed SketchUp correctly all kinds of unexpected file & folder permission issues can appear... To repeat what has been stated in many places before... To fix your installation... Login to Windows as your normal user-account [NOT the specialized administrator account - BUT if your normal user has some admin-powers that is OK] Ensure SketchUp is closed. Find the SketchUp installer's exe file - usually in your Downloads folder. Select its icon, right-click > context-menu > "Run as administrator" When prompted choose "Repair". When it completes retry SketchUp and see if these kinds of issues are improved...

@mike amos said: When will Blender 2.8 be released? All I have found out so far is that release is delayed. I'm hearing sometime in Q2-2019..BUT there many people are now using it since it's been in BETA. Beta typically means all the features are locked down but there may still be bugs. I've been using it for a few months now and it's pretty darn robust. As Pete says, you can download it now. Regarding DL'ing of Blender 2.8. You should consider updating your download every couple of weeks. I know this sounds silly, but it's pretty amazing how robust the daily builds are. I've yet to have to 'revert' to an older version, and I've been doing this for both 2.79 and 2.8 for quite some time now.

@poppadave The sink next to the octagon I used several plug-ins, Curvi-loft, round corner. The ones to the right I used the native tools. I created a basic outline, copied that down on the blue axis, created a plane at 40 degrees, moved the front two corners back and in until they were intersecting with the plane and the edges. I hand stitched the top and bottom corners together. Made a group, made a copy, scaled one of the copies down by .9, dropped it in the center of the larger one, exploded them both, and deleted the face. I made a rim for the sink using "follow me". Scaled it up by 1000, and intersected. I'm sorry, I'm not the best explainer and I sure can't make you a gif. So I hope that was enough information to head you in the right direction. Good luck, Chris HP Sink.skp

What is "Parallel Perspective"? SketchUp has Parallel Projection and Perspective for camera options. Please explain what it is you actually want to disable. The camera doesn't automatically switch from Parallel Projection to Perspective. @unknownuser said: Every move made defaults PP mode.. What kind of move are you referring to? @unknownuser said: I spend so much time switching views... What do you mean? Are you switching scenes? Scenes can have camera properties set. If you create a scene with the camera set to Parallel Projection, any time you return to that scene, the camera will switch to Parallel Projection. That's within your control, though. If you don't want to save camera settings as a property of the scene, you can untick the box in Properties to save.

    DamaTheCatD
Joe, Yup, some cats are OK. Our DamaTheCat lived to be a ripe old 19 year old. She was a Tortie and also could be carried around like your PDC. Before she passed she, with a little help form us, raised a 6 week old mix breed pup we found on the side of the road in Baja. We still have and love the Pup which is marvelous except for the traits that Dama instilled in her during the pup's childhood. This cat of ours we called Dama, but her real name was 'Ookedama' which is Japanese for 'Most Honorable Hair Ball'. Critters are a pain, but it's hard to live without them once you have had them around. Thanks for the comment. Bye Now, Mike

If I understand correctly. It can easily be done.Make a block (the mould material) larger than the concrete block. Place the concrete block with the top side (the side that will be the open side of the mould) on a face of the mould block. Remove the face covering where the concrete will be and make sure the there are faces on top of the parts that will create center voids. Orient faces so all "FRONT FACES" are facing outward (contextual menu "orient faces"). Please see attached with the mould in transparent material (which I hope makes it clearer--the pink is all surfaces that will contain the concrete). (If you are using a typical template your front faces are probably white and the back faces are blue. My front faces here are the pale yellowish color.)
