Overall i like it. Its a clean with realistic feeling. Below are my suggestion to further to further improve the composition for your consideration: -Ambient requirement to be produced by one light source seems need to improve, propose to add light sources such as task light and accent light. -Propose to change the material or design of tv rack it seems like a work station. -change pillow, use a lighter colored textile -Pendant seems floating add base plate. -Depth of wall cladding at the picture frames near the tv seems not enuf. -Enhance the Ambient occlusion a little bit to emphasize lines.

For the moment it's an invisible image! Maybe you can't post an image / Numbers of post in the forum ... So maybe use an free external host like Media Fire and put a link!

Allright, i think your problem resides on 'color mapping' section. (I thought you were using vray 3 which made color mapping approach 'simpler'). Test these and see if it helps: 1- Change color mapping type to 'linear multiply' 2- Disable 'linear workflow'. 3- Increase 'retrace threshold' (inside light cache) to get rid off problem you see at door. Also change 'number of passes' to 8 (by default i think). 4- Resetting everything to default settings might be another good option and adjust settings one by one and see how they behave. See this official manual for more information. Additionally check this tutorial on linear worklflow (general concept).

According to official Vray Docs.: Migrating from Previous Versions @unknownuser said: Loading ‘.vropt’ or ‘.visopt’ files created in previous V-Ray versions is not recommended. Some outdated parameters may cause unexpected results. Using the new streamlined quality presets, and then fine-tuning the settings before saving them in a new ‘.vropt’ file is the recommended approach.

XD Thanks for the feedback. Next time ill be more tactful of selecting the right components and attention to small details. I have able to sold this concept to one of my colleagues for a box of pizza. He intend to use it for his house. Nice anyway is there any tutorial regarding post production here? May i ask a link if any. Thanks.

Did some test with another model, removed de default material from all the faces and it worked. I found that if the back face is also a default material (the blue face) with will also mess the proxy. I used the UV Toolkit from thomthom to aply de front material to the back face and got a much better result on this other model, only the rims changed material. Result http://imgur.com/a/peTIQ Plugin https://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=18992#p155759 For the BMW model I used the Global Material Change from TIG to replace the Default material with something else, and worked fine. Definitely a good reminder to use the wipe clean tool on models imported from other sources. Glad you figured it out.

Subdivision (Subdivs) must be under Light Cache settings. But instead, try Denoiser first to get rid of noise. It should be an easier and faster job for Denoiser.

Okay finally, after testing the setup for a week, I can say Eureka! Making that "symbolic link was the answer. (MKLINK /D link target.. you can Google this command for more info)**. Now, all my components is loaded on network drive and being shared by 2 different Sketchup PC in our office. Updating the menu is more efficient now unlike before that I need to copy manually from one PC to another whenever there's changes. The only downside I noticed (this is subjective) is the loading time of thumbnail on your menu- because I have tons of components on the menu (8GB), the thumbnails needs about a second or two to become visible unlike when it is saved locally- you'll see it right away. So that's it, hope this helps! **reminder when using MKLINK, first make sure that your "link" folder is non existent before using this- took me a long time of trial and error why its not working, it's because I first created an empty folder of same name- so don't do that, let the command create the link folder by itself.
