Roger Heres a few manufacturers of thin film Photo Voltaics. I've been keeping an eye on this technology, which can significantly reduce the cost per watt of PV. It's not quite mainstream yet, but I've seen it on a building at the B.C Institute of Technology and had a few emails with their facilities manager, who is quite happy with the system. Let me know how it goes. This is really cool Thanks! (although I seem to have overkilled my machine by trying to stretch the component to the horizon)

Thanks, Richard. I was looking for something shy of 11 million results, but so far, not much. Perhaps it's time for me to try my hand.

there might actually be a better or more proper way to do this but here's how i do it. go to 'list' then new.. (and i guess you could skip this step if you want to add the texture to an existing list.. i put all of my created textures in my personal list) [image: JEO4_screen2.jpg] i've named my list 'scf example'... with the brush tool active, hold down command and the cursor will turn into an eyedropper.. sample the new texture with the eyedropper and it will show up like: [image: 1b9s_screen3.jpg] drag the texture from the sample window into the palette.. [image: eX1H_screen4.jpg] upon quitting SU, the .skm will be created and available for future sessions.

Yes, Thanks Olishea. I just saw your work yesterday on the 6 backgrounds and i downloaded them. Scott thanks, i will try them out. I worked on one of them and made it seamless. This is my first. I had to cut stones and pasted them to make it seamless. [image: qQzL_Frontier_tumbled_split-face_51561.jpg]

Thanks for your thoughts, as it goes the client pretty much removed most of the light from the scheme so all that trawling the net was a waste. Good job I didn't go ahead and buy one!!!
