@Rich-O-Brien said in SubD examples and models: @hornoxx "never trust a cook that breaks the spaghetti to fit it in the pot." so funny! [image: 1772267108321-3da1a7f1-a1b2-4845-b4b6-061b5cde2e2d-image.png] I'm so excited to see what Panixia is "cooking" up !!!

I have really been liking the slab size function of the door and glass door, the reporting fits the bill and sizing is more true, but none of the other door modules work the same way. It feels like having the option should either be available everywhere, or nowhere. If you match the jambs to fit with the jambs of a fixed slab, lets say 3068 for the fixed and the same scaled for any other door type and it would report as 32.519769.8504 Door which is a horrible read out. I think in the meantime I just need to not use that function in the regular doors, but it would be helfpul in the future if it was consistent across all door products.

When I used VRay when opening Vray Asset Editor tool you have buttons to start/stop rendering with the ability to run real-time or non-real-time rendering (push and wait to see result). And since I have used it for a long time I am accustomed to that UI, your is quite good, and like I said it is just a matter of spending some time with UI to get accustomed to it. The start/stop buttons are a must, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I will make sure that happens soon. It's not as feature-rich as Vray, but I hope the UI makes sense for users new to rendering and users with prior rendering experience like yourself. For me, it doesn't save scene settings when I am done with the rendering and after reopening skp it goes to CPU rendering and pic size of my Sketchup window. Another user (@Mike-Amos) reported the same bug. I can reproduce it and plan to have a fix for the next release. Please, use my picture to promote Rayscaper, this, and any I post later. Thanks! Regards, Thomas
