Version v1.4 has just be released. http://sketchucation.com/pluginstore?pln=ZipUp It has improved comparisons for possible versions etc when using ZipUp.skpver= [which is only available in >=v2014] and better error reporting of incorrect input - e.g. when used in <v2014, or with an unsupported version, like 2 or 2012...

You're correct Phil. I looked at this plugin and if Layer 0 is changed it throws away your current camera view and forces a hard wired direction using a parallel projection view! I know this is an old thread but just for the record, they never contacted LightUp about their plugin problems. Adam

for 2 or more terrains imported from GoogleMaps I always use the Clip or Trim Terrain Mesh plugin. No complaints. But of course, it was not made to use with two terrains that don´t match. But don´t worry Sdmitch, I followed the "skirt" advice. While draping the terrain over the other terrain crashed Sketchup, draping the detailed terrain over a flat surface worked. Then I just deleted the border of the flat surface and I had my skirt. (ps: just thought now that instead of draping, I could have selected the entire terrain, used the SELECT ONLY plugin, select only border edges... then the projection tools plugin to extrude lines along a vector... select the bottom edges and resize them... that would also create a skirt.

I'm looking at a whole building. It's a component and all the parts are nested components and (don't tell Dave) groups--especially windows that might be nested components from the assembly down to the glass. I want to work on something I see. First approach I can double click and double click and watch redraws until I finally get to it; or I could use the Outliner. Instead of the Outliner, with some plugin I wouldn't have to guess what component (might know but not always) or group (won't really know) the object is in. Wouldn't have to find it in the Outliner. Just pick plugin (key shortcut) and click face or edge: then ready to edit, no matter how nested it is. I would be inside whatever component that contained the entity.

Hi, i have been using shader light pro for some time now and think its a brilliant renderer, however i can't seem to get keyframe to work along side it, i want to use artificial lighting and if i can animate spotlights etc. when i make tweens shader light doesn't recognise this and nothing moves? can anyone give me a step by step please?? It now processes "2dText" which has been made with my 2dTools, just as can native Text and Dimensions...

Dave Thanks. I do that also, but this was the first time I have multiple images that I wanted to overlay. Normally I have one image that I use and you method works. However, I wanted to turn on the X-Ray view on so they could see all the images stacked. It seems with the slowing down with work in the Gulf of Mexico, they are chasing more inland work. So this is why I am getting more and more scanned files, from projects that were constructed in the late 30's to the early 60's. Anyway thanks.

If we have normal names should we just wait until you do another update or should all of us update. BTW; Nice of you to go through and update all of your stuff... I would have told them to change their name.

In my limited tests, it seems to me that my plugin works as expected. However I can't know if what I'm testing is anything like reality. So if you could post a model of the sample depicted in your previous post, it would be appreciated.
