Drop for 2014?
-
Is there a Drop for 2014? The ones I have aren't working... and on that note... Can someone fix the SCF Powerbar set?
-
The new SketchyPhysics By Anton ?
Or more simple RayTracer By Thomthom should make the trick!
-
Another alternative: ThrowTo

I'd be curious to know which ones you 'have' to see why they aren't working. Have you installed their latest version or have you moved them from an old plugin folder?

Currently I have a4rchitect SmartDrop Beta and the two Drops that come with SCF Powerbar.
Yes, think I have latest versions of each and also tried just moving folder on the old SCF Powerbar. I'll try out these suggestions. -
a4rchitect SmartDrop Beta installed via the Sketchucation plugin works perfectly in SU2014.

I right click on comp. hit smart drop at intersection and I get a hidden comp. where it had already been.

Throw to using the infinity option works. thanks.

Thanks Pilou, Cotty and Box for the quick suggestions.
-
DropGC on Smustard is working good.
-
Throw to is one of my must have plugins.
-
It's an old plugin write by TBD.
And I change the file to rbz.
Now it's worked fine on 2014.

Thanks Arc...

I have a question for you and others here. Is there a "Drop to intersection" tool that selected components will not only drop but xyz align (rotate) itself to the face of the destination point? Typically, in the past, the drop at intersection does exactly that (drop a vertical tree on a slope and it remains vertical). However, to drop the tree on the slope and have it take the 90° of the face… Now that would be magic and what I'm rubbing the lamp for.Is that what "smart drop" does?
Is there a drop plugin that will align the selected component to the face it intersects? Thanks.

Smart Drop Beta does it.

It's not a drop but you might find Components onto Faces handy too.
