Thanks Tomaz for the headsup. I was not aware of this problem (Smart meters) and it could be a problem for people living nearby those smart meters, particularly whoever is sleeping in the bedroom above that bank of smart meters. I think I will do some more reading up on this subject. Mike

Had a similar problem: on bootcamped windows, the wireless card didn't find my wireless connections, but found all the other ones surrounding my home. I went in my router settings and changed the Channel Lenght setting from 20Mhz to Automatic (20/40Mhz) and it worked. Try this and let me know

Maybe the side walks are full of dog shit. Anyway, dog shit or not, people in my town have always walked on the road, too. At least as far as I remember. Nothing new in that.

Extasis Beethoven. Yesterday night Puerta del SOL [image: BEwN_Beethoven.JPG] http://www.youtube.com/user/periodismohumano#p/u/7/wTIjSE6yeeI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUJ7s59aLSo Lyrics O friends, not these sounds! Let us strike up something more pleasant, full of gladness. Joy, beautiful divine spark, Daughter of Elysium, We enter, drunk with fire, O heavenly one, your holy shrine. Your magic once again bonds together What custom strictly divided, All Mankind become brothers Where your gentle wings hold sway. He who has the great good fortune To be friend to a friend, He who has won a dear wife, Let him mix his rejoicing with ours! Yes--and whoever has but one soul Somewhere in the world to call his own! And he who cannot, let him steal away, Weeping, out of this company. Joy is drunk by every creature From Nature's breast; Every good one, every bad one Follows her rosy pathway. She gave us kisses, and wine, And one friend, tried unto death; Even to the worm ecstasy is given, and the cherub stands before God. Gladly, as his Suns fly through The magnificent plan of the heavens, Run, my brothers, your own course Joyfully, like a hero off to conquest. Joy, beautiful divine spark, etc. Let me embrace you, O millions! This kiss is for the whole world! Brothers, above the starry firmament A loving Father must surely dwell. Do you fall down, O millions? Are you aware of your Creator, world? Seek Him above the starry firmament! For above the stars He must dwell. From Wikipedia : ode written in 1785 by the German poet, playwright and historian Friedrich Schiller, enthusiastically celebrating the brotherhood and unity of all mankind. never too late to become true ¡ help us to sound better i was not in there for i am claustrophobic but i enjoyed watching them in the internet hope you do as well cheers

I passed the links on to my brother. He said he thought it would be good entertainment for his three dogs. I've got an idea he'll end up with a bunch of shredded sticks.

Thanks Pilou. Who would be more qualified than you ? You just LOVE Colors ! I was always been amazed by your colorful works. Indeed, after that graphic, the ratio would be this: R: 1.00 G: 1.25 B: 0.75

Poor bugger; http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-10-10/jobs-died-at-home-of-respiratory-arrest-tied-to-cancer-1-.html Memorial service this Friday; @unknownuser said: Team, Like many of you, I have experienced the saddest days of my lifetime and shed many tears during the past week. But I’ve found some comfort in the extraordinary number of tributes and condolences from people all over the world who were touched by Steve and his genius. And I’ve found comfort in both telling and listening to stories about Steve. Although many of our hearts are still heavy, we are planning a celebration of his life for Apple employees to take time to remember the incredible things Steve achieved in his life and the many ways he made our world a better place. The celebration will be held on Wednesday, October 19, at 10 a.m. in the outdoor amphitheater on the Infinite Loop campus. We’ll have more details on AppleWeb closer to the date, including arrangements for employees outside of Cupertino. I look forward to seeing you there. Tim http://9to5mac.com/2011/10/10/apple-plans-celebration-of-steve-jobs-life-for-october-19th-10am-pt/ A really good tribute here with an interview with Eric Schmidt, Google's chairman; http://www.bloomberg.com/video/77067952/ Worth a watch.

When one comes to think about it. Apple have stealthily been taking a very large chunk of the pocket digital camera market! They have never really pushed the camera aspect of the iPhone just supplied the goodies and have now upped the anti! http://www.tuaw.com/2011/06/21/iphone-4-most-popular-camera-on-flickr/ Reminds me of the story of the antique dealer hearing about a very valuable painting in local house. He concentrated his buying efforts on a mediocre antique chair and offered to pay the asking price which was away over the odds. He then asked that the painting (his real target) be thrown into deal for a few quid as clincher! The owner did so as he was focused on getting the outrageous price for the chair. If the dealer had targeted the painting firstly he would not have got it cheap!
