Great stuff Al

I'm self-employed, 10 hrs per weekday is normal. Of those 10, usually only 7 will be chargeable if I'm lucky. The rest goes on quotes, bookwork, maintenence and learning. I try to keep weekends free mostly for swmbo and sailing and the bloody garden. My preference, when the work comes in, is to go for it doing 12/15 hr days, and then have a couple of days off to do other stuff. Baz

I use two samsung monitors at work that I really like as well. I was planning to replace the LG with a Samsung, but in the end this ASUS was quite a bit cheaper, faster refresh, and 2 inches bigger. But I do agree, those Samsung monitors are great!

Yeah. . .I passed on that one. It's always dangerous to take these wonderful little kids books and try and stretch them out to 90+ minutes. . . Witness the "(S)Cat in the Hat", "Grinch", etc. Dr. Suess is rolling in his grave.

Iv being using sketchup to do animations using characters and so on, not the ideal tool for it but you can view some of my work by looking into my previous posts and my blog, failing to animate in SU iv used my concepts and trying to imply them into an app for mobile devices, currently under preproduction, but because of the lack of quads in designing characters in SU I will need to model them again using either 3D Max, Cinema4D, Blender and so on, iv managed to animate characters using a modified method in SU, I have a short clip in 1 of my posts, but it took me quite a long time to get any progression in animating in SU, I suggest learning a different 3D software like Blender which is designed for animations, I myself haven't learnt blender but I wish I had as SU was the wrong tool, have you done any animations in SU you would like to share?

finally my crappy computer start to have "blue screen" of dumping (an screen showing physical memory dump, and counting down!!!) . then it restarted, giving a message that i've missed a system file ,and asking me to use a 3 finger hello! ( I mean, Alt+Ctrl+Del)!!!! and then missed my pc..., and now it is on repairing.... donno what happend and if it was depending on that treats or no, but it;d be fine by new windows..... my only chance was that I had a copy of latest works on flash memory and continued on my new laptop wit only Sketchup+Gimp!!!, my only engineering apps!!

Good thought, but that wasn't it. Turned out to be that I was running SketchUp in XP SP3 compatibility mode, along with using a basic theme.
