I do not have a smart phone, it matches me for stoopid and I use it as a phone only.
I am sure there are folk here with a Whyphone who can describe the process.
I found this with a brief search.

Then I constructed it from the drawing and create some textures in Gimp (normal wall/roof textures + windows + dirt; no renders).
So still there is some special treatment of the textures (will need some extra explanations - I still use your generously shared materials from the Limburg Monastery)

(Once I had nearly convinced a Googler... )
Once a 14rh century reconstruction of a Church I made (now there is a 16th century Turkish mosque in place) was accepted by Google. Then I had to appeal so that they removed.
Okay, so I am moving it... And of course, will have a look at the fixed model!

me neither! although NYE celebrations have set me back weeks I lost a lot of grey matter last night
nice nice nice... I love how you have the lower part of the stone work stained... I would suggest deleting the front walk since it doesn't go anywhere. or wrapping it around and perhaps out of the line of sight. great work. terrific realism...
lumion seems to be a very very interessting program. unfortunately my PC is to old to install the demoversion... So I have to wait to share my experiences
At this moment is just an hypothesis, but I link you a new (in spanish) about a possible roman building used now as a church that reminds me your basilica.

Perhaps is just a coincidence, and it's just a recent building. I'll try to bring you future news about this.
Thanks for the feedback guys!
Rclub24 - I had a 2D cad file that I generated from some pdf files found somewhere a while back on the web. Can't remember where exactly.
A quick little update - finished the deck and changed the stone and wood siding materials. The others were too dreary / dull for my liking. I will post some more when I finish the site context around the house.

Pichuneke, gracias for all the great reference material and the advice on Spain. I will talk to you more about both, but I have to prepare for a photographic assignment on Thursday.
I thought you had visit to Derngate earlier this year. If not Fritz and I could organize it after new year. I think it would be useful for the other students as well.
Maybe you should contact Architects who did restoration works and obtain more data in order to model it more accuratly.... Nice renders would be also helpful...
update to the homecinema- project. Unfortunately, I didn't have any time to let all the renders cook long enough, so they are still grainy. But never the less, the customer is very happy with the result.

for the floors i used phong shader in skindigo material properties, so its all rendering effects.
@roger said:
Are the reflections on the floor done by the render engine or are they part of the post processing?
inthe fact its for north iraq ( kurdistan - sulaimani) ya some elements are borrowd form other cultures but it was on client's demand.

I like it. The building seems to have Moorish arches, but has a cross on top. Would this be in Spain, Turkey, or perhaps Greece. The rotunda seems a little Greek.
