      Hey Guys,
      Shaderlights "Replace Me" tool allows you to load massively complicated components (such as the dynascape trees) into your model without killing SketchUp.
      Replace Me works by having a low poly placeholder in your SketchUp scene and then when you hit render it is replaced with the high poly version.

      Basically it means you get the benefits of both worlds, integrated rendering for a quick work flow and the ability to render very high poly models.

      On 3D warehouse there is a bunch of Dynascape trees pre-made as Replace Me components that are ready to render in Shaderlight.

      The "Trial" version should give you all the features of the full pro version (which includes animation) but it expires after 14 days, so just register on shaderlight.com and they will send you an activation key which unlocks the pro version.
      Once your trial is up Shaderlight will revert to the free version which as iichiversii says does not allow you to use the animation feature.

      To get you up and running with your second license can you email support@artvps.com with your license code so I can see why it won't let you activate on your second computer.

      I agree with you that the bug is annoying however in your original statement you made a point of saying that Shaderlight does not support Replace Me components with Keyframe Animation, when in fact it does.
      They are completely different unrelated topics (Replace Me and Keyframe) so I was pointing out that you were mistaken.

      I haven't had a chance to test SU Animation with Replace Me, however I will do that now.

      Batch rendering is a feature which we are looking at including in future releases of Shaderlight.

      Hey iichiversii,

      I'm sorry to hear you are having difficulties with Shaderlight.
      First I just want to clear some things up.

      Shaderlight licensing allows 2 activations, one for your work computer and one for your home computer/laptop.
      If you are having issues activating on your second computer let me know and we can get that sorted for you.

      Replace Me does work with Keyframe animation from my experience. If you need help getting this to work then let me know.

      The bug you mentioned is due to Javascript timing out during the export process, so it depends on how fast your computer is and how complicated your scene is, the longer it takes to export a scene the more likely Shaderlight is to run into the Javascript bug.
      As I mentioned, if we could see your scene this would help us dramatically in fixing the bug, and if not we might be able to find a work around for you.

      We are of course working to fix this bug but as it is down to restrictions in the code base it is taking longer than we would have hoped.

      Any animation plugin that actually creates the tween fames as a single scene will work with Shaderlight.
      You just have to set Shaderlight to render 1fps.

      KeyFrame definitely works (after you click Create Tweens) and I know SUAnimate used to work, I'm not sure if the Beta does yet though.

      Proper Animation won't work (unless theres something I don't know)as it does something fancy behind the scenes which doesn't export to Shaderlight.

      I just had another play and it looks like after you convert the animation to tweens Keyframe turns off "Enable scene transitions" and turns the transition to 0, This means Shaderlights exporter doesn't receive any information about scene transitions and so doesn't work.
      To make it work simply turn "Enable Scene Transitions" back on and change transition time to 1 second
