Hello Bob, it was all built on derelict dockland, it was constructed around 20 yrs at a cost of £26 million along with the marina. 100 of "apartments" were built, the majority now rented as social housing (now thats progress). It staged the 2010 Tall Ships Race at a cost of £2.8 million to the local tax-payers - long live the council. John

Just get a large aquarium tank, a few gallons of Flourinert, a pump and radiator and toss all the gubbins in there. Add some blue LED lights for extra cool. Better yet, add a divider so that one half can be water for tropical fish and the heat will help keep them nice and warm.

Yeah, it sounds like they've put some time into it's development, which I suppose you'd have to for that sort of thing. He seemed to skirt around the questions regarding what sort of meaningful changes were put into the mac version (...um, it's prettier and the UI is less costumizable, but you have 2 color options?). And the guy who piped in at the end seemed a little overly defensive regarding autodesk's relationship with apple. It felt a bit like the guy being accused of being a racist who says, 'well, i've got a lot of black friends!' (or in this case we bought maya which is on the mac and there are lots of people here who have iphones). All in all, I'd say that it's a good sign for mac users that they've created the mac version and I suspect it will work just as well as the windows version. -Brodie

Looks good! Is this Modo 501? I've been dying to buy it, but since there's no demo yet, I'm holding off.

Hi James, Thanks for the comments. It's modeled straight from the Sketchup output with style but there is no post pro in it. endpoints and extensions are effects from the style.

Hi John, That is interesting. Not the look I was after but it is interesting nonetheless. Thank you.

Thanks for the kind comment Roger. Rich, Thanks also, and here is the raw SketchUp. There are two photo textures that are visible. The outside scene is a png billboard, and the wall hung tool chest is the famous Henry Studley chest that was originally a back cover for Fine Woodworking in July 1988. It is a woodworking masterwork, and I placed the texture there to see if by applying normal, and displacement maps I could make the chest seem as if it were a real tool chest hanging on the wall. I am still experimenting with maps to try and get more depth. I'll post the results if they work out. [image: tkC9_Workbench.png]

cucsat, I am glad you told me that it is in the North. Because the architecture somehow did not fit the South. It reminds me with the new year. Nicely done and thanks for the information. best, James
