I often find myself in this situation when my partner is away for a few days. Then when she comes home she tries to kill me.

That's really better IMO Richard The warmer tones and the stronger shadow of the tree on the facade help a lot.

@olishea said: is that seriously a render? Lol! In fact it doesn't, for it looks like some photomatch. But we'll see how it goes in a couple of months, when the new version is out for test.

Very nice. I've never seen that model before. They stopped selling the Falcon here in America in 1970.

Yep, Dylan and Martha are right. Roofmaterial is part of the underlying original picture, no modelling done on that. Thanks again for comments

Thanks, Oliver. @arail1 said: I wish Vray wasn't tied to the parent app.(...) That makes two of us. Would be much more practical. Not to mention cheaper. I have no objection against buying Vray, obviously, but I really cannot justify the added cost of Max or Maya. As I mentioned, Vray for Blender (a script that connects Blender and Vray for Maya) may be a viable option. All one needs to buy, is Vray for Maya, as both the script and Blender are free. Sounds good to me.

an update of that scene. I took another table, with glass and I used a modern tablecloth. The terrible flame is still the same [image: 9LEZ_windlicht010-kl.jpg]

Hi guys. I've been busy my drafting jobs lately, hence the delayed follow-up. I get a friend to show me some basic tricks in pp (with Photoshop) and this is my latest attempt. I modified the model a little bit (thanks for your comments, guys) and for the time being this is the best I can do. Comments are welcomed. [image: TZzG_007e1.jpg]

Thanks for the comments. Can you comment on what specifically irked you in regards to textures? The lighting is really bright, because I was instructed by the client to make it that way (I appreciate how much a little shadow drama would add to this render, but they don't )
