Hi Shoreline, nice work and I agree with Remus, just tone it down ever so little as I think the brightness of the render suits this kind of shop. BTW, I'm playing with Podium in Parellels and having great fun. It is a gem of a program to work with and even a total render novice like me can get half decent results. Hopefully the Mac version will be available soon to ease the workflow Mike

@unknownuser said: Wow, very well done. The only problem I found was that I cant see how those blinds are suspended in mid air. The strings must be hiding. actually when zoomed into the photo I can see the faint signs of a string...

In America, French door used to refer to a pair of fully glazed doors (according to 1974 Architecture Dictionary), whereas nowadays it's used to denote a single door, too. We usually refer to a glazed door without muntins as a full-lite door, though.

Thanks everyone for your comments. These were not as good as I would have wanted but that is what happens when it is a very tight deadline. I had a week to do a animation of 3 floors and a total of 500 cubicles plus 24 rendered images. All work was done for Knoll directly. They did love it so my fingers are crossed for more work! Scott

If you appreciate the complements I will repeat again. A very nice piece of work. I prefer the straighter lines and the strong linen though.

@whaat said: The importance of quick setup time is extremely underrated. My primary goals with SkIndigo were quick setup time, ease of use, and fast/intuitive workflow. Yes, the UI of version 1.0+ was somewhat inspired by Podium. The core geometry export algorithm (a few lines of code) is the only remnant of SU2KT in SkIndigo. Everything else was rewritten. BTW, the official stable releases of Indigo / SkIndigo 1.0 are right around the corner. Well, you succeeded. I owe both you and TBD. If it weren't for Podium and (Sk)Indigo, well, I probably would be rendering a lot less.

pichuneke, We did not get to see Santa Maria la Blanca. A pity. I suppose we will now have to return to Spain to see it. (grin). There was a rich Jewish history in Spain before the Inquisition. We managed to see some of it not only in Toledo but in other cities, especially Cordoba. Although I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful Mezquita, exploring the old Jewish quarter was delightful. Thank you for your kind words. Your English is far better than my Spanish. Allen

Thank you gentlemen. Hot tips? Hmmm....get the chocolate cake with mint ice cream. Much better than the flan. Oh, sorry. I don't know if they are hot tips. I set the focal length of the camera to 75mm, the aperture to 2.8 and because I think the aperture should be polygonal, I set it that way with 8 blades. Don't really know if that makes much difference in this case. Probably not. Just play with it and be patient. Reduced DOF seems to increase render times substantially. Good luck. Dave
