TIN Bridges
-
A little experiment to investigate the potential of lifting sections of a TIN away from the TIN surface while keeping the sections connected to the TIN surface at either end. In other words, little bridges off the TIN surface. Quite a bit of potential I think.

Mr Bartels, your WORK are always pieces OF ART. I am struggling to find the right superlative word(s) to express what I think of your latest output.

Thanks Guite, appreciate the feedback! (Please use Fred... Mr. Bartels makes me feel sooo old.) I'm fairly pleased with how this one turned out, although I like the top half better than the bottom.
As I've been experimenting with projected textures I've found a lot of my older SketchUp work to be a good image source for textures. The image here came from a model I did last June which is in the 3D-Warehouse here. I love reusing the old work.

Fred,
Don;t know how you think these things up but they get better and better. I find myself looking forward to your next "experiment" with sketchup.
They are beautiful things.
