normally you export exactly the sun position of SU model in kerkythea without doing anything... check in the KT scene if there's the sun activated, if its position is correct, if the model is right placed on the global axes origin... and perhaps post some screenshots in order to understand better your problem

RE: Kerkythea question
I'd say no, there's not such a feature...but can you explain better what you mean? -

Seniora fork chair
Just for fun, a lighting studio... Seniora Chair by I.Gutierrez revisited using translucent materials instead of wood.
SU model by ZXT, taken in the google warehouse;
Rendered in Thea with TR1 engine and relight;
Composition, vignetting, tone corrections and DOF enhancement in Gimp.
Hope you glad it

RE: [Plugin] Circle from edge (2-pt circle,Updated 15/02/2016)
yes it works perfectly, also with number of edges and numeric value for the diameter

as genial as simply...

RE: Rotating a model by specific angle in Kerkythea?
I recently used a workaround. I've built a series of views in SU drawing a circle around the model in order to pick the exact points to position the camera, imho at least 24 points are needed because the interpolation in KT is smoothed but mainly linear. you could also duplicate in KT all cameras at once and rotate manually to the middle of previous to increase quickly the final views
here's the result (drag the image)...just a test, there are 24 cameras and still the movement is not perfectly circular

RE: Sketchup Web Exporter
no, it seems this affects only the preview...then, when hit "create" it still zooms out to fit the scene. I believe you should modify the way it creates a circle which is the base of cameras path. As I understood, it takes the dimensions of the model's bounding box to compute how far the camera is from the model and the radius of that construction circle...maybe could be enough using the bounding box of a selection instead of the entire model and all other methods follow... maybe! I'm not able to read and understand a script

RE: Sketchup Web Exporter
No, there are no other objects and it's centered with the origin, the fact is that the plugin forces a resize to fit the scene (that could be a reasonable choice to show your model) but I'd prefer to keep the current view because I want to show only the central part of the scene

RE: Sketchup Web Exporter
Hi, I also would like the web exporter didn't zoom to extents the model, I was trying to change the script but seems the line reference of richhinton are wrong
anyone had success with it? can you share the whole modified .rb file? -

Progress bar Feb 8th
today

I believe the target is now very high, but when no new requests will come, they'll let magically grow the bar to reach the goal...no need to refund money

It's explained in the website

+1except the pipe room, I see that overriding the values without " it uses metric units

RE: [Plugin] Pipe Tool (UPDATE 3/19/2011)
Nice work Builder Boy, very useful ... I just cannot figured out what's the meaning of the pipe room
is it a grid that helps to positioning the components...or what?
Thanks
