RE: Auditorium Seating - Help
I used the rotate tool on a similar project...hit the control key to copy a bunch at the right spacing (the degree you pick for each row), then some minor rotate adjustment of the whole row of seats will clean up the aisles.

RE: Revamped watercolor tech...
Thanks, Dale...a bunch!
The tech is not much different than before, but adding an underpainting of bold brush strokes gives the Fotosketcher layer a whole new dimension, huh? (Over that is still the sketchy line work and a 'spots' layer burned in to simulate pigment puddles.)

My initial reaction is that I wish I'd have the chance to see such a sight. But I suppose if you're exposed to these you pray never to see one?
Usually, you don't see the one that gets you...I'm out in the yard with the rest of the natives as soon as the sky turns green :`)

Wyatt,
I have often used one of the SU concrete materials scaled up really big: gives the impression of rough material once you get the color and tone just right.

RE: Models Surrounding Environment
I often just guess in the surrounding buildings from site photos and google aerials...doesn't take much time since detail isn't important just form.

RE: My Sketchup stuff
That one glowing rafter tail is a hoot...plus, it does a nice job of balancing the composition!
