Looks great to me. The only thing I would say is the chair seats look a bit to high.

RE: Help with kerkythea lighting!
I am assuming you have installed SU2KT plugin and have read all the starter guides that are listed in the KT forum. I general model in the pot lights that are supplied with the SU2KT plugin in sketchup first. Then after import to KT I adjust the intensity in KT. If you have modeled in your own lights and materials then you can change your lighting material to the IES mesh light supplied in the basic materials pack for KT. Dont forget when starting out to use a low render setting like photon mapping quick.
I have played with KT for many many hours and have found it quite difficult. The KT forum is a bit stale these days but they are a friendly bunch and are helpful.
Hope this helps.

RE: 89 models
Would be nice to have a vague idea of what the models are before I down loaded 225mb.

RE: [WIP] Lumix GF1
Cool model.
I played with one in the store the other day. Really liked it.
I wish they would get rid of the flash and replace it with a view finder.

RE: A Convention Center in Sketchup
I like them a lot. I think there is a considerable about of glass there.
The last one freaks me out a bit. The columns and road markings look bent.

RE: Issue with Installing Plugins on a Mac
On my mac zipped files are automatically unzipped and then they go into the downloads folder. I then open up the downloads folder and copy and paste them in to the plugins folder. I have never had any problems. Its good to know if something doesn't work I can follow these helpful hints by Tig and Dale.

RE: New Material files
Thanks for the link but its pretty vague.
I dont have any info on recumbents I have only done burly hardtails.

RE: Issue with Installing Plugins on a Mac
Are they still zipped?
The files need to be a .rb when they are put in the plugins folder.
Do you have any other plugins that work that you have downloaded?Hope this helps

RE: New Material files
Yes sketchup works great for modeling bikes. I have done a few so far. When modeling some of the smaller parts it helps to scale them up at least 10X.
Can you post a link to the bike parts you found in the wearhouse?
Cheers

RE: Is the Gallery section starting to resemble 3DWH?
Just leave it the way it is now. We will never be able to police people on putting titles on there threads or getting them to put there threads in the right sub forum. And if we make sub forums this just makes more work for the people who run sketchucation which isn't a good thing.

Ummmm maybe you should spend your time on other web sites then.
How would you expect junior modelers to learn?

RE: Problems with running SU on Unibody MacBook Pro
Yes I agree with you Edson. Those are some helpful hints that I though about giving but he only stated problems with opening and closing files mainly.

RE: Problems with running SU on Unibody MacBook Pro
Those are fairly big files for sketchup. I have a newer and faster mac book than yours and I some times have issues like you are having.

I would like to know why you divided the line before welding. The link you give is to the smustard site and I see no answer for the question there.

RE: Job Requirements
I would be very impressed if some one could fill that job. Its like one person bidding the job then doing the architecture then the engineering and the doing the steel detailing and then the mechanical work. The person would have to be in the building industry for years just to know how it all flows as well as be on top of all the software.

RE: Rendering
Yes like Chris said. Spend some time on the forum reading all the posts that relate to you. Then post some of your images there with some question.

RE: NOLA Saint's WIP
Holy crap dude you sure have a ton of models in the wear house. Its good to see some one who follows through on the whole project. Most of my models are incomplete.
