Awesome vegetation. The top bar on the railing is a bit huge for my liking.

    • RE: Geometric stair

Nice model and render. The only comment I have is about the small landing about 3/4 the way up. I think it detracts from the flow of the stair case. Does the landing have a use?

    • RE: When I zoom in, model gets cut off

I think its a common problem with sketchup I cant explain why but I am sure some one will. It may have some thing to do with your graphics card to. I usually just use the zoom extents button or you can right click and click zoom extents.

      Cheers

    • RE: Help with van.

      Thanks for the comments guys.

I have played with TIG's extrude tools but I am not that good with them. I also dont see how it would work with so many curving surfaces coming together.

Mike I will try and make them the same hight but the body slopes from front to back and the roof is curved so I dont see how that will help.

Escapeartist I have modeled the van life size but I will try and enlarge it 10X and then use round corners plugin.

    • Help with van.

I have been trying to model an early 90's Mitsubishi Delica. I started the project because I wanted to design a camperized interior which I have done already. But now I have come back to trying to model the exterior better. The biggest problem I am having is with corners that come together at different radius's. I started out with a side and end profile and then push pulled them together and then intersected with model. I have tried rounding the corners of the window pillars with Fedo's round corner plugin with no success.

Any other suggestions how I could round the corners on the body?

Thanks for the reply Jeff. Yes now I see that you can arrange by when you are in icon view. But that doesn't get me the file info like the list view. Seems to me that when in file view the only option is alphabetical?

      Cheers

    • RE: No Mac skp thumbs?

I have been on a mac for the last few months and miss thumbs as well.

      Another mac question

When looking through a folder in mac is there a way to arrange the files in different order like windows does. Eg. by file or file size or date mod? I do see the option when I am in finder and then go to view but it doesn't work.

I also think that the paint bucket tool is a lot better on the windows platform.
