RE: Rillston
Dear John,
Once again it is a pleasant time passing to open the picture and watch your work, looking for the details, the originality and the proportions. Thank you for sharing.
In the second picture, missing from the first attempt, not far to be a discrete signature, the buzzard in the sky and the pigeon on the ground.
The unreality is your nice personal touch IMO.
Do we have to make our critics with this house?
Mine are : 1) a roof too mossy for a so well maintained house , 2) a garage door a bit out of house style (imo).Cheers,

RE: UV_test_patterns to grab
Thank you Paul and Numb
This thread's definition is not to be debated and developed very much
I would just engage people with interesting test materials in their possession (and wanting to share) to communicate them to me in order that I add them into the shared folder..

RE: Google Drive is live

You should look also at Sugar Sync, it starts with 5GB, +2GB sending 20 invitations, +500MB for each friend joined, +750MB for starting tasks. And it's more versatile than dropbox to syncronize the folders
Thank you Luca for this addition - I keep it in my links.
I just have signed for a DropBox account : Dropbox's Links feature seems very useful, and I'm interested by the synchronization too.
I just have signed also for a Google Drive account and waiting for my validation mail ( ). This Drive should be extremely useful as storage and bridge with all the Google's services I already use: Gmail, Google+ , Picasa, SketchUP, G Maps , G Earth...
So for the moment, I think the storage possibilities and else features offered are widely enough for me
I'm glad to see that Googleβs Terms of Service don't play in an insufferable way with privacy because I would like that Google can stay the only worldwide industry in which I trust reasonably...

Simon (or any other), remember to sign in with a invitation link from another user in order to earn additional space, it should be +500MB each
thank you Tridem for the advice!
Paul had invited me. I've now a DropBox account with 2,5 GbI immediately use the "Dropbox's New feature - Links" to share some materials: - some of then picked to Paul collection -without bandwidth security due to the low quantity I have posted.

UV_test_patterns to grab
a collection I would like to share with SCF members.
New UV toolsare taking advantage of UV test patterns to arrange the mapping. Once the mapping is satisfactory, it can be replaced by the one and then exported and memorized.
thomthom_QuadFaceTools
Whaat_[$] SketchUV
Fredo6_FredoTools::ThruPaint
and may be also
Aerilius_Make Unique Texture ++As I have searched these UV test grid for my own usage, and spent time to, I have thought to share my finds with you.
-(Thomthom's looks like UVtests are from me, done with SU )
-( serie 000_uvgrid01.jpg to 000_uvgrid08.jpg is a Paul Russam find and can be downloaded here (with plenty of nice other materials): Dropbox's New feature - LinksUVtestP_Small (from 256x256 to 600x600)

RE: Dropbox's New feature - Links
Hi Paul,
Interesting way to use that sort of services to connect yourself as a nomad "on the cloud" I have to better watch and study your explanations. Especially the selective sync feature in DB connected with Link Shell Extension
Thank you for sharing this nice collection of materials. I have leeched a bunch of them and bookmarked your thread
I thought I had a DropBox account and had tried unsuccessfully to login. After some searches in my papers it had appeared that I had a "BOX" account !!!
https://www.dropbox.com/ versus https://www.box.com/ : It seems to me that they give about the same. I think Box allows also the Dropbox's new linking feature, but the Sync desktop files is reserved to business account ($15 / user / month!!)

Bandwidth: 10.0GB

RE: [Plugin] Pen Tool +
Hi Rich,
Your Pen set is very nice and I'm glad to use it as a basic SU tools.
I would like to bring your attention on the fact that Pen tools invalidates Jim's Construction Line Tool (opening your Construction Points Pen in place of)
Jim's Construction Line Tool have the very useful option to let the choice to put or not construction points at the construction line extremities.Do you think it would be possible to add this option to your pen tool ( and may be to fix interference with Jim's tool ?)
Cheers,

I've experienced some difficulty to find the Wikii Inner faces Remover you are talking about.I was remembering this inner faces remover but too vaguely to be able to find it on the forums and have found it into my downloaded plugins repertory. It is not referenced as a normal plugin but it is a reply from Wikii to a Pilou's request.
So here are the links :

Nice usage of these tools untested until now

Parts are based on ThomThom's 'solid_inspector' tool which can also be
used prior to this tool, so that you get a better understanding of what
is wrong with your Non-Solid Group...Name: TIG-solidsolver.rb
Menu: 'Tools' > 'SolidSolver'
Usage: [Note this works on v8/Pro only]
Please note that all instances of the group are solved together even if only one is selected. (So I've been obliged to explode one copy of the invalid solid group to keep the errors of the group on the same picture as the one solved)
