If you are using a jpeg you will have to manually cut out the background and save it as a png (with transparency). Once you have done that when using an image tick the check box marked 'use colour texture as transparency' under the diffuse rollout in the material editor.

I am guessing you are clicking on the "Photo Textures" icon in SketchUp, and it brings up the window in Street view?

Try clicking the "Add Location" icon, that will bring up a regular Google Earth window where you can grab the terrain and import that. You can click that icon many times to keep importing more pieces of the terrain. Good luck,

thats the only method i think u can use or other may suggest.

'splain it to me, Lucy. How can you have two different groups connected by a line? The line must be in one group or the other or in neither group. If you open a group for editing and run the eraser tool over a line that is not in that group, nothing will happen.

sorry if i reply very late. i don't get what you meant about the tangenal continuity and i should do it with vertical section once. but it seems good if i will apply what you said. can you show me some photos how you did the ship hull using curviloft? I know that where using both the same process i used the body contour of the ship to make the hull but it is by section. you made the hull as a whole without any visible ship body contour. i know you're the one can help me about this fredo.
