As he was a bit cryptic You make a new material then edit it to add a texture image, browsing to the jpg/png etc you want. There are batch material importers posted on the forum that import all images in a selected folder as mew materials - you do have to manually edit the 'tiling' size etc though...

In Style Builder you're limited to stroke widths of 6, 16, 32 or 64. You can make up to 10 strokes for any given length. You could try drawing some narrower strokes and adding them to the template. An alternative if you want your lines to show thinner is to export the images at a higher resolution.

Is this where you click Move and then Shift to make the selected move off axis? or does this apply here? Just an idea. mitcorb edit. oops. I meant select items, select Move, and then ALT to release from axis lock. Still, is this the appropriate procedure?

I've had similar problems using download managers, most of the time they work, but sometimes all they do is frustrate. If you try downloading without a download manager it will work fine.

I think I'll stick to making my spiral stairs in "Datacad" and importing them into sketchup. This works great for me. It includes a handrail, etc.
