Hi Pj, is not problem change the files, only make shure you put the same names for components.
You can use the *.png file inside the leaf component.
Here are the leaf component I use.
Ok, thanks, I look in the tutorial.

One could even run node computers in a "kiosk" mode and automatically load Thea clients
Can you explain this issue? I don,t understand.
Thanks in advance
Notareal, in fact I take most of the steps from PDF Tutorial and added some steps I considered important (like install Thea with node serial). My primary objective is post in spanish forum, for non-speak englihs people but once done in Spanish, I thought, why not post it in English also.

I try to explain my workflow to make a network render in Thea
First of all, like I explain in the topic for v-ray, http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=322&t=38908&hilit=+render#p343511 we have to be sure that PCĀ“s are conected in the network also firewall persmisions are setup. Default port for Thearender is 6200
Ok, if we are sure, proced in this way:
Already done this, have to install Thea in cliente mode, with serial for cliente node (not normal serial). Thea render start in client mode.
After this, in Therender Server go to menu->Help->Server Beacon. This transmit the information from server to clients nodes.
In each one of clients click in Configure and the Icon that look like WIFI
This step search the server and when the client find, click ok
Click Start and the client wait for the server information
Back to server machine and the client are connected click in cancel
In the render option windows in network select server
Start render
open a window "preparing Project File" in the server and in client (or clients) side "opening temp.pack.thea"
in this example I only conect one client to server: darkroom->network
Client side start the render job
Server side show clients and % of work

There are a couple of things that make me take this news with a little bit of optimism (maybe I'm a little candid)
First, they have clear how and how many users have Sketchup
@unknownuser said:
Who uses SketchUp?
SketchUp is currently used by millions of users annuallyāranging from architects to engineering and construction firms to building and design professionalsāfor designing, modeling and visualizing projects. The SketchUp product and its vision of ā3D modeling for everyoneā has allowed modelers worldwide, across a wide range of industries, to express design concepts easily, accurately and efficiently. Additionally, SketchUp users benefit from its extensive third-party developer community that provides industry-specific solutions for a variety of customers.
Second thing, I consider very important, the importance they give to SketchUp third-party developer
@unknownuser said:
What if I am a SketchUp third-party developer?
Trimble acknowledges the value of SketchUp developers and will continue to support SketchUpās developer program.
and the last, I hope still that way ā3D modeling for everyoneā
@unknownuser said:
What if I am a SketchUp user and I am not in one of Trimbleās current vertical markets or concentrated industries?
From its inception, SketchUp has provided a wide range of industries with an innovative and easy way to model all things from A-Z. The SketchUp product and its vision of ā3D modeling for everyoneā has allowed modelers worldwide to express design concepts easily, accurately and efficiently. Trimble intends to continue to support the existing SketchUp customers and community and to continue to offer both the free and professional versions to a multitude of markets.

Added "asset collection" settings to the tutorial.

btw is it better to use LAN connection rather wifi?
That depends on your wireless connection, if you have the same speed as your wired connection is the same thing. If not, the wired connection, most of the times is much faster than the WI-FI connection.

Rodrigo, Thank you ! for that great tutorial. I've cut the render time in half
Your welcome, How many computers are you connecting?
Try changing lens shift value in options->camera between 3-10
Hi, I personally "save as" my work in path I choose, then is easy to find de files.
In your case, I assume your work is saved in my documents folder. If not, you can change the .skb to .skp extension before trying to open whit sketchup.

No hay de que, es un gusto poder haberte ayudado.
