Vray Not Rendering

Hi...
Having huge problems rendering in vray sketchup. Have been rendering just fine from other models for the same project - but after purging, copy/pasting into a new file and all manner of other tricks the attached file just doesn't want to give me anything. It's now less than 6mb so I'm finding it hard to figure out what the issue is. Can edit options and hit render, but after a while of 'processing' frame buffer comes up and just shows a black, 'unsaveable' image....and inevitably crashes.
Any help would be great (running to the finish line for a competition due this Friday 15th June)!!

(I'm using pc via vmware in mac and sketch up pro v8...As the file is relatively small I'm able to email whoever is willing to help the file in case this makes advising easier)

Menu->Plugins->V-ray->Help->Debbuging->Regenerate all v-ray materials
or else
Menu->Plugins->V-ray->Help->Debbuging->Force sync for all materials
