That seems reasonable.

My machine is a bit more robust and came in at 6500 bucks.
The lumion files I work with are very large and complex so I need the Horsepower.
If it was just SU I could get by with a friendlier priced unit.

get ready for a bit of sticker shock and wait time woes on some components. The high end gpu's are trading like stocks these days. I guess the demand by data miners is at least partially driving prices up & up.

If the move tool and paint tool being spasmatic and graying out of contextual menus is operating as expected than I think expectations need to be adjusted.

This latest update is counterproductive.

Is there a way to roll back the version on my setup?

Yes I have tried turning on hidden objects & hidden geometry.

I have not noticed a bounding box encompassing the objects.

I cant say for absolute sure that they are not part of another group or component because I did not go through every single grp/comp in the model but I think I would have noticed when placing or creating groups/comp.

I focused on items that I reuse often because these UFO's show up in most if not all models that I render.

Hi Rich,
it will show up in renders. If it is not right in my face I can ignore it, but sometimes I have to PS it out of the image. I have recently started assigning a transparent material to the offensive little pieces in lumion as a band aide.

It definitely is coming in with the su file because when I select the su oblect in lumion it will highlight along with the model.

Odd though that the material assigned to the little buggers is called lumion node material.

I have contacted lumion as well to see if they have an idea.

Hi, I have some artifacts showing up in my rendering program that are not visible in the sketchup model.
Wondering if anyone has ideas on how they might not show up in my su model, but do show up in my render program.

I have checked my template and all layers are on and I have looked to see if I hid them by mistake.

they show up in every model I import into lumion and read as part of the su object.

Is there a way to roll back to the previous update? The one prior to version 21.1.299 64 bit.

My color picker/paint bucket tool is now inconsistent. One time it works as it always has, the next time it hangs up with the eye dropper, sometimes it will not pick a color without clicking several times...
I also do not like the way the move/copy tool works now.

If any body can point me to how to roll back my version, I would appreciate it.

I have to report that my color picking tool is now working like it always has.
I do not know why it would have changed after the update and then changed back a day later, but it did. Maybe a few re boots helped.

I am a fairly adaptable human but so far I am in the
P.I.T.A camp.

I guess I feel a need to elaborate on the paint bucket tool....
The way it works now is nuts. It is logical to think that the reason one would be using the eye dropper tool would be to grab a color and then immediately paint it onto another surface, so having the tool return to the paint bucket is absolutely the correct function.

I cant even click on the bucket tool again to paint. I have to completely go out of the tool and then come back to the paint bucket.

This one needs to be fixed.

Anyone else experiencing any quirky behavior with latest version 21.1.299 64 bit?

I run windows 10 pro

here are two things I am noticing.

1. If I click on the paint bucket and then press alt to get the eye dropper tool and select a color with the eyedropper the paint bucket does not return after eye dropping. it just remains in eyedropper mode.
2. When using the move tool if I press control to go into copy mode and then copy whatever it is I am copying, the tool will stay in copy mode. not a big deal in that I just have to hit control again to change it back to the move tool but that is not how it used to work. Is this a purposeful change or a bub?

Hornoxx - That new Picture was taken of me when I was a firefighter at Mcmurdo Station, Antarctica while serving in the United States Navy.

GusR - The plants & shrubs are all native Lumion objects. They work out great because one does not have them in the sketchup file so the model does not get bloated with 3d plats and trees.
I do not use a wall plug in. I model them and each wall is an individual group, or component if they repeat.

I use sketchup pro current version for modeling and Lumion 8.5 for renders and videos. A little post processing with photoshop elements 11 here and there.

Installed using "run as administrator"

• Upon starting for the first time given the message to sign in.
  I do so and receive the message that I am "signed in to all things trimble"
  

• Then when I try to run su I receive this message.
  

so I signed out and in again, and restarted my computer and tried again and tried to install again using the fix option.
Same result.

any thoughts on whats going on?

ahhh shoot! I did not try to enter classic licence... I will try that. Sorry if this was a false alarm.

I tried the classic license tab and I do not have a classic lic. so I clicked on subscription tab and it says I have an active license so I am still stuck.
