      I had an older version installed, that was the problem so I updated to the latest version and the plugin installed. Now, however after making the cuts in sketchup, and sending it to wrapr it doesn't automatically open wrapr. It creates the component then does nothing and if I try to open the file manually in wrapr it tells me it can't open files with components, so then if I delete the component it opens but doesn't keep any of the cuts I made within sketchup.

      There is no right click menu within the wrapr application that I'm aware of. I did all the cuts and unwrapping in the standalone wrapr application. The save button says it saves and then gives you the option to continue working and it reloads the mesh, but it reloads the original without any of the changes to the UV map.

      As a separate problem the pluging within sketchup does not seem to install for me. Using the rubyinstaller.exe in the folder brings up an empty list of components to select from and says install components.

      I'm having a bit of trouble. I UV'd most of my model then saved and said yes to continue, and when it reloaded the model, it was back to its default state. Am I doing something wrong? Also how do you install the plugin to work inside of sketchup? Thanks

      An update... I currently only have a netbook to do this little project on, and it takes forever to do the renders! This one ran for just under 24 hours.

      ya I did that among a few other things and the tri count is now at 1979. Heres some shots of the UAV in the Crysis Engine. No texture maps yet

      Hi I was wondering if there was an upper limit to Chris fullmer's Faces to components plugin? I'm trying to use it on a model with under 2000 tris and it keeps crashing SU. I'll attach the model so maybe someone can play around with it and see why its not working

      heres something recent i'm working on for a contest over at game-artist forums http://www.game-artist.net/forums/game-artist-mini-competition/11265-gamc-3-uav.html

      The modelling is almost finished I just need to cut down the tri count because the you can only have 2000 tris for the competition and i'm at about 2100 right now

      Scene Settings > Global Settings > Volumetric lighting, then You can play around with the global fog settings at the bottom til you get the results you want. Be warned, it significantly increases your rendertime :S To get the god rays you use a very low amount of scatter I think, like 0.2, and keep the rest as they are. I could be wrong however, since that render was a few weeks ago

      Oh heres some other stuff I forgot to post as well. Rendered in Kerky. The third and fourth are a spaceship i'm working on inspired by Homeworld 2 concept art

      Heres the growing number of stuff that i've put into the crysis editor, all built with sketchup, and textured in sketchup. normalmaps and spec maps and diffuse maps used in game.
