What bushes?
Nice model I'd suggest changing the ground texture as well, since the pixels in the texture are very noticeable
It's from the half life 2 game. It's possible to get all the textures out of the game as well as all the other source games. It only requires two programs to do so. GCFScape, and VTFEdit
heres a little file i made to recreate the same look of the picture posted. Rendered on default in podium 1.6 with the quality and smooth sliders set to halfway.
Also heres a close up render of the forcefield fences in the animation
heres a little test animation of the scene i'm setting up. First time i've done something like this. It was rendered in podium; still getting used to the program
well i did a "simple" model of a light from the game half life 2... applying the texture in SU took forever due to the complex nature of the object. I know its not much but I thought I'd post it up since it took so long. Rendered it in podium
well its looking awesome so far!! Is it the head of a robot?
great work! looks like a very pleasant place to live
great renders! hard to tell that they're not photos, especially the second one
working on a model of a canyon, going to try and make it realistic. Just roughing in the basic shapes so far
amazing work! i recognize your stuff from CA.org as well
Heres the final on the room done with hypershot. Sadly i can't add an interior light because i can't create a .hdr file without photoshop and i only have elements.
Hi i've been having trouble with IDXrenditioner express today. After several renders, it won't renders it won't render anymore. It tells me that the system can't give it enough resources and it cancels the render. I'd never experienced this problem until today. I checked it out and I think that after closing a render its not dumping the render cache properly because its using up about 90% of my computers ram at that point. Once I close sketchup everything is dumped so thats not a problem but its just annoying having to close sketchup after everyfew renders when i'm just testing lighting. I'm using sketchup 6 on vista and the file i'm using is only about 9mb. Any help on this would be appreciated
I'm working a new scene now. Its still a WIP. I'm using the hypershot demo
Heres my go with IDX renditioner free edition. A little diffuse glow added in photoshop after
