@L-i-am Thanks. And an awesome render, too!

RE: US house render
@L-i-am The "owls head" for the electrical drape in the US would not come in over the porch - it would be back at the main wall of the house; telephone and cable would be brought over near that as well.

RE: New Plugin like Windowizer???
Windowizer 4 also works fine in SU 2021.

RE: Reversed Faces
I was able to download the zip file, but had to tell Windoze to keep (via the dropdown indicator arrow) instead of canceling the download.

You can still revert back to your old perpetual license (as long as it's >Su2014) and use the Eneroth plugin to open newer files.
Which plugin is this one?

RE: Paypal compromised?
Long time lurker ..
No problems on my box here in the US.

RE: Transferring files without working USB ports
Best solution is to use Solo's suggestion (DropBox, OneDrive, etc.), or even use WeTransfer.com to upload the file(s) and then email the link to whoever/wherever you need.
Another, more techy solution is to set up remote access (especially if you need to upload/download) to get into your desktop when you're not where it is. I'm partial to Remotepc.com but there are others that can throw more bells and whistles at it (for extra cost).

RE: Hidden object is messing up my drawing
Just a shot in the dark .. have you gone to the View menu and turned on 'Hidden Geometry'? That one is my Achilles heel.

RE: All Affinity products 50 % / Covid 19!
Having been a Serif (and now Affinity) user for a LONG time, this is an incredible deal on an amazing suite of software! Affinity/Serif are truly focused on the user, and the value you get for your money is second to none - do NOT pass this up!
As with a lot of us, my only wish is that you spend your hard earned cash on Affinity instead of Adobe and/or MS - and find that although Affinity may not do ALL that Adobe currently does, it's awful da*$ close, and may not be that way much longer!
Just my TOTALLY biased opinion!!

RE: Foundation Plugin
I normally set the top of the depression at 3-1/2" below the main slab (a 2x4 for the form) and 5-1/2" below the main slab at the garage doors (a 2x6 for the form); if the garage is deeper than - say - 24' I would probably slope to a central location and add a drain inlet. Stems higher than 5-1/2" would need to be increased in width for me to be comfortable that they would be stable.

RE: 3D Truss Models
An example of "Just because you can think it and draw it does NOT make it worth constructing in the real world!!"

RE: Printer - Dorm room
Maybe look at a multi-function machine if she will need to do any scanning too. I've always had good luck with Brother printers and LD Products ink (ldproducts.com).

RE: Whats your biggest SketchUp file?
Not many textures, but 10 different buildings on a vastly changing 4.71 acre site - 200 MB.

RE: Medeek Electrical
It took a couple of hours for me .. hopefully Nathan's gotten yours out to you too by now.

RE: Plugins for a grid with dimensions?
Windowizer 4 (http://www.smustard.com/script/Windowizer4) works with SU 2018. I can't comment on the others - I've never used them.

RE: Medeek Wall Plugin
Nathan ... just wondering about the bundle deal. What about those of us that are current (paid) Truss and Foundation users who also contributed to your KickStarter campaign? Is there a way to align all of our licenses to one renewal date? I'd rather have one renewal (like Vali's Instant Architecture) than multiple individual ones. Also looking forward to when you add in the shear engineering element to the wall plugin!
