Hi Folks, Was hoping to find shop drawings for building a double hung window that includes complete frame/sash details. With exterior sill ect. Have a 1838 gothic revival home i'm restoring and windows have been hacked up to the point that I cannot even get dims off of them.
At this point it will be easier to start from scratch. If there's anything out there that would be great. Weight pockets as well would be fabulous.

I think you'd have more luck finding that sort of thing if you ask on forums related to the restoration of old houses. You might also check the Fine Homebuilding site and see if there's any suggestions there.

Try: Modern Practical Joinery by George Ellis (Amazon). Originally published in 1902, it does contain a detail for a sash window and much else besides of a period nature.

Very good. And before you buy, have a look here. Page 194 and beyond.
