@andybot said: lol, I didn't say it's not useful, you should just know that there are many things that are different with the current version. The manual is still the best place to start to understand the concepts, but I would also recommend looking at the video tutorials, as they explain a number of the newer features that don't show up in the manual and I think are pretty helpful. There's been a lot of frustrations - if you read through some of the posts in the vray section of this forum and the chaosgroup forum - regarding the slow pace of development of vray for sketchup. thanks

@chedda said: These plants & flamingo i believe are credited to Solo (here on the forum). They were available from his site as a paid download see plant pack 1. I have bought these and can say they are very well made. They are included in the Podium V2 Browser in 3D plants and I agree, they are extremely well done. I wish there were more of that quality.

It's how the plugins are written. It's a real simple fix (a line or two of code) but since the vast majority of writers are on pcs, they don't realize they need to add this little snippet for macs. Some people have began including it (fredo for instance) and I've edited a couple of rubys to work right on mac but a couple of them are encrypted so I just deal with it (or keep the script unloaded until I need it for a particular session) anyway, you might want to ask the writer to include the necessary code. I'm on a phone right now so searching the forum is cumbersome atm but there are threads here that outline what needs to be included.

Have you looked at Model Info> Rendering> Anit-Aliased Textures, uncheck the box to see if that makes any difference, just a thought
