I know there is a great deal of pressure for European countries and elsewhere to take in refugee's but we simply do not have the resources for our own citizens. Housing in the UK is in acute shortage already. It may not be PC but the United Nations was supposedly set up so this kind of problem would not happen and what has it achieved? Nothing. About time countries stood together and faced the likes of ISIS etc together so that each and every nation can be safe for ALL of their citizens. I know this sounds like hot air but it is not. I know what it is like for a lot of reasons and the Trekkie in me wants to get all these politicians in one room and smack their heads against a wall until they all get it.

The developer of this already great addon will fix the UV issues soon. May be more complicated though, something with the indexing of vertices. As a workaround, it's easy, just go on top view (7) ortho/ edit mode / select the faces and UV unwrap (project from view). In the UV editor resize and place accordingly. However, UV unwrapping better take place in blender. Blender UV editor is one of the most advanced around.

Kind of pricey for a plug in though - $395 after the introductory period. That means modo is becoming sort of pricey also - $1495 for a license, $395 for this 'must have' plugin = almost $2000. I think when I bought my first license it was $695.

No collada thomthom, it will never work right under blender to SU workflow. Thank you, anyway. Importing heavy meshes into SU is never an easy to do task. Even the 64 k limit of 3ds format is more than reasonable for the SU viewport engine. Much easier to export all SU scene as obj to blender and set up a scene there. (tig's exporter)

Thank you andybot If you have any difficulties with my nodes(noodles) set up ask for help. You will probably have. I'll group it for you. I'll write some tuts on this, though it's easy to post the blend file without textures, append it (ask for materials only) and apply it. Insert any texture you like. That's all. In the near future we'll be able to share a library of materials. In a more appropriate way.

thanks pilou I was never a good friend of anatomy studies. Against this I was never shy to touch human beings. This is the only reason to try sketching, sculpting this subject. meanwhile the new fiber mesh can be exported as splines!!! Very interesting. I always found it hard hard to believe that so many artists of similar historical periods would all have 'savant' type abilities enabling such accuracy. Also, some of the painters mentioned were very prolific, and many of their paintings show little evidence of having to use 'CTRL-Z' - pointing to the use of technical aids rather than a process of gradual 'refinement'. Funny, when I was attending 'Art' evening classes, I was told that my work displayed too much of my engineering drawing training - so it's nice to see some acknowledgment of the 'old masters' debt to technology, to balance the usual emphasis on art's conceptual dimension. Also, lovely to see that despite his long stay in California, Mr.Hockney has still kept much of his Bradford accent - made me feel right at home when watching the videos!
