Some fresh sketches.

Mates,
Although the modeling and rendering are done entirely using Blender, I thought the approach could be inspiring, that is why instead of corner bar, I shared it here. Also the job could be done using SketchUp obviously.
Nowadays there are plenty f rendering engines -that provide a wide range f candies assets- and the result has too much taste of CGI.
I am old school guy so prefer atmospheric photographic approach instead of CG look
Here is the glimpse of what I have been busy doing past 4 days for my portfolio!

Thank you dear Mike.
Here are my inspiration sources. I have tried to follow their color and stroke mood.

Today the weather was volatile, sunny, and rainy...and I had some spare time (thanks to a supportive friend, here) to go out for sketching. Here is the result.

Not only the detail but also the texture is mindblowing!
Recently I tried some of the styles over a concept proposal, and I think the result is attractive while no need to get into the details.

Today was a foggy day. The Amstel River bank is part of my route to university. I took several pictures and now painted one of them. I realized that those similar nuances of the colors are really hard to grasp.

Thank you mates,
The same approach, another example. Just adjusted the level, so that the darkest point is not 100 black to match the distance and made a customer brush to erase the lower part so that matches the landscape:

It has been a while since Rayscaper has been here and although it is under development it seems that is a revolutionary Raytracing engine.

Also Nowadays I am really busy applying for relevant jobs and realized I need a large space interior to include in my portfolio.
It started with a raw sketch, then modeling and developing in Sketchup+Blender.

Here is what I got.
I also shared the model on Sketchucation, so you may play with ( I have changed the Emission power of materials), So you can try it by yourself and share the result here. Please feel free to adjust the model...

Being busy with applying, spared some time to model and render this, as a Mars habitat.

@Rich-O-Brien nothing to add, the scene looks very real...
Thank you mates...
Two more car renders...slightly unsharpen mask is applied

@L-i-am said in I need a model of a cushion:

@Mike-Amos Actually it was a really friendly popular design. Each gate had two brick benches to sit down and chat with neighbors. The Elderly also had this chance to rest for as long as they wanted, while being safe from the sun and precipitation.
The other day I was plating with "Plastic" shader and here are some of the images.
The engine material settings seem promising as even in very dark hues you can see the color.

@Mike-Amos Thank you, mate. It all started by an image from Lisa Glanz and was a personal challenge to learn how to "texture paint" such a model.
Not very similar, but.. :

@tuna1957 The model is not mine, I have adjusted the model, added some details, and adjusted the textures based on an image I had from the real place...
Thanks for the compliment.
Great render, and HAPPY NEW YEAR ( I wonder why you exclude New Zealanders!)
