I genuinely thought my suggestion would produce great enthusiasm among the community and I must admit I was very wrong...

Well,
I did it manually eventually but I still think it could be useful to have the option to sort the scenes alphabetically.Have a nice day!

Sort Scenes by name
Hi,
I wonder if there's a plugin to sort the scene panel by name?
I have a file with 50 scenes I need to re-order and moving each one up or down is very tedious...Anybody encountered the same issue before?
Thanks for your help and have a nice day!

RE: SketchUV Shortcuts
Nah, he replied this to me:
"Regarding keyboard shortcuts, unless they are listed as an option in the SketchUp keyboard shortcuts (Preferences), then it can't be done. Sorry!"
-
RE: SketchUV Shortcuts
Well it seems impossible then...
Does sanyone know of another plugin which would do the same thing but would be usable with a keyboard shortcut? -
RE: SketchUV Shortcuts
No way... I was hoping some ruby genius would have replied something like 'yea, no problem!'...

SketchUV Shortcuts
Hi, I'd like to create shortcuts for the very often used 'Save UVs' and 'Load UVs' in SketchUV. But the commands cannot be found in the Preference/Shortcuts Panel.
Is it impossible? Really? Forever?Seriously, it's really not vital, but I would certainly enjoy it!

RE: Anamorphosis: I need help!
Well... Blender is giving me the most flexible approach.
I set the camera and then paint the texture.Any solution involving geometry projection would make editing (change of position, change of texture...) painful.
I considered buying Blendup (a Sketchup to Blender transfer add-on) to import my Sketchup cameras and geometry to Blender, paint in Blender and back to Sketchup.
Eventually, I chose to do everything in Blender (model, texture and render).I will let you know how it turned up!
Thanks a lot for your help, gentlemen! -
RE: Anamorphosis: I need help!
I painted the walls in Blender using Stencil mode: seems to work that way!

I think you mean something like this:
Unfortunately, it doesn't work as expected...
Thanks for your help!

Anamorphosis: I need help!
Hi,
I'm stuck on this project... Seemed simple but I can't figure it out...
I need to project an image on to walls: the image is only visible from one point of view and distorted from any other point of view.I thought I would use Photomatch but i can't seem to make anything happen...
Any clues?

RE: SubD examples and models
And what if the subdivision level could be triggered in the scene's properties?

RE: When was group copies implemented? It's awesome!!!
Yeah, I'm on a rush job and just found out it's not a default behaviour of Sketchup...
This ThomThom guy really deserves 3 exclamation marks...Thomthom, I think I love you man...

When was group copies implemented? It's awesome!!!
I decided never to put 3 exclamation marks at the end of a sentence: one is always enough.
But this select active groups/convert to component feature is absolutely brilliant!!! (<--I just did it again...)Thanks to any human being related to this massive workflow improvement!!! (<--I just can't stop now...)
Thank you Sketchup team!

I wish SubD could have a toggle on/off for an entire model or having control over the level of detail on selected objects (<-this is the worst sentence I've ever written I think...
Yes! This is high up on the list for next release. Multiple selected objects - and I was going to explore allowing groups containing SUbD instances as well to propagate the toggle.
This would be awesome!
In a group, if you have models with different level of details (some at 1 level of subdiv, others at 2 or 3), would the each model's lOD be retained?
But then maybe it would be nice to have an option to apply the same level of detail to all the models within a group...
Well, let me say it again: I already thank you a lot for all your hard work on this: it's really appreciated!
